I would actually prefer this to how my neighborhood bar does their music every night. The whole building is about 30 feet across but they play music super loud, and there's a lot of old people who just start screaming to each other over the music because they want to chit chat but the bar is bumping music (from the 70s) super loud thinking it will attract the local college kids to just hear a bar with loud music like a club (it doesn't work because that's not their music and they don't go to little dive bars).

A song selection where 80% of the songs you play are bangers and 20% are songs that I might not know, but a ton of others around me are clearly very excited about. 2. Couldn't agree more - especially that it happened to me ONLY ONCE - and it wasn't at a club - but a private party and the guy was doing the EXACT THOSE TWO things - especially the transition part and I had to specifically go to him and tell him how good his transition was.
