In this video, I go into detail and list all of the Easter Eggs that happen to be in the San Diego Incident portion of The Lost World: Jurassic Park! There is a TON of stuff to cover from King Kong, The Lost World 1925, Gorgo, and even Animaniacs! The Lost World has some awesome stuff with David Koepp and Arnold Schwarzenegger that I think you'll all get a kick out of! :D

What makes me laugh with some of the lines that weren't translated in the Jurassic Movies are both the Hispanic man seeing Donald Gennaro arriving in the first movie, when he told his friend in Spanish "How much do you wanna bet that he'll fall ?" and the untranslated lines from Omar Sy in Jurassic World when he told Chris Pratt "T'aurais dû le laisser le bouffer !" which means "You should have let it eat him !" but Chris looks so clueless and just nodded at him like "that's cool man, I didn't understand a word !"

Great video, alway enjoy how much time and research you put in these videos you do such a great job. I don't know if this is a easter egg or if you know but did you know that Robert Burke, the paleontologist who got eaten by the T Rex is actually based on real life paleontologist and Jack Horner's rival Robert Bakker who states that the T Rex is a hunter. So Spielberg wrote Burke into this part to be killed by the T Rex as a favor for Horner. When Bakker saw this he recognized himself on Burke and loved it, he even sent Horner a message saying, "See I told you the T Rex was a hunter."

Once again, Klayton, you do not disappoint. I knew about roughly half of these easter eggs. To help you out on one of them, in the shot of the T-Rex passing behind the basketball hoop, that was intentional to have the arm wave that way. The thing I think that you should consider doing is, if you don't already have an account on IMDB, you should seriously look into getting one. That way you can make continual updates on the trivia pages for all the Jurassic Park movies, and others in the like. I've made a handful of updates for the Back To The Future trilogy, and other franchises myself.

Klayton, since you mentioned King Kong, I want to suggest something for one of your reviews. Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake got mixed reviews (personally, I enjoyed it immensely, and loved the creative fauna of skull island), but the project I wanted to bring to your attention is the 2005 (or 2006?) video game based on the movie. Now, most movie games are usually shitty cash grabs by their respective makers (perhaps most notably “revenge of the sith” that came out a few weeks before the actual film), but this one is unique enough to stand out on its own. The reason why I think you may enjoy analyzing it is that the game features multiple dinosaurs, and a very interactive environment with a well-developed food chain, which is something that “Trespasser” attempted (and failed at miserably) nearly a decade earlier. Examples of gameplay include shooting down flying creatures to distract a large therapod, scrounging up weapons from available resources when low on ammo, using local insects/salamanders as bait, or burning away brush to clear the path. For a game that is 12 years old it is damn impressive, and I would love to see you give it a go on your channel.

As a HUGE monster movie fan, and a pretty big movie fan in general, I appreciate a lot of these references. I like the Gorgo one because it's so obscure, and you'd have to have seen the movie to get it. I LOVE the venture one, because King Kong is such an amazing movie, and King Kong has a big influence on this movie, same goes for the original 1925 Lost world, which I also love how this movie pays homage to that movie. But my favorite reference is easily the Japanese business men. If you can't tell already (just look at my name) I'm a MASSIVE Godzilla fan, so seeing a reference to one of my favorite things in one of my favorite movies, is really awesome. Nice Video as always!

There is also another product placement in front of the House the Rex passes as it moves its arm. You can see it parked out front a Reddish Brown Mercedes Benz ML 320. That makes it the 4th of the movie including the first two Santana and Fontana destroyed over the Cliff, and the surviving one Montana at Eddie's/Ingen's Dock Equipment Warehouse.

Great work! As a lifelong JP fan, I still didn't identify all of these references. I knew the entire the SD sequence was essentially a King Kong nod, and of course I saw the Godzilla reference and knew Koepp was the guy eaten by the Rex, but like Gorgo and the 20's TLW, I had no idea, That's awesome! It's funny because it kind of brings it all full circle for me, as Ive gotten older, I discovered a love for older sci fi and creature feature movies, which came from my growing up with JP. And fittingly, of course, JP itself is inspired by these older films.

Welp... for me the best one is David Koepp's 'Unlucky Bastard' part.... Also, I was particularly underestimating you for some of your contents but then after watching some others (including this easter eggs video), welpp.... 1 subscriber for you, Klayton Fioriti.

Also, I know this is off topic but I wanted to answer your question on where the raptors in Jurassic Park The Game came from. On the wiki, it says that after the Big One killed all but two raptors, InGen shipped 7 other Velociraptors to be sent to Nublar as replacements for the ones that perished at the teeth and claws of the alpha. They were put in the quarentine pens and escaped due to the power outage. This information does put a bit of a lid on the Big One being a male theory: no offense, but I personally don't believe in the Big One being a male: we already know the male InGen Velociraptor counterparts are orange with black tiger stripes, in contrast with the females being a dull brown. We can say that after the Isla Nublar incident, the surviving Raptors from JP: The Game, some changed gender and reproduced off-screen

Remember that because of their frog genes, they can change their sex easily. Changing sex does not mean their colors will change as well, so the theory that the Big One is a male does make sense.

there was also a part in the cliff scene on sorna where there is a shriek that sounds very much out of place and it sounds so much like the queen alien from aliens. it comes up right before the rexes start pushing the thing off the cliff. Maybe its a reference to Stan Winston himself.

I never noticed "The Lost Word" logo is bassically the same as The Lost World Jurassic Park, What about a video of Why The Lost World: Jurassic Park is one if not the most underrated movie in history?, if we see the initial reviews and the ones on IMDB or RT they just smashed the movie, i know is not Schindlers list but hey is a great movie, 8/10, an A if you´re Chris Stuckman (and damn it i agree)

The T Rex face scratch from The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a reference to 1933 King Kong. the first time. we see the T Rex, it scratches it's face.

they also kinda reference the first Jurassic Park : when daddy T-Rex is following Sarah and Ian, Sarah says "slow down" and Ian is like "I don't think so"... it always reminded me of the "Must go faster" scene in the first movie

That idea of having the parent come after the child also happens in the film "Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend" with 'Brontosaurs', but Gorgo is far better known. Also, I thought that the 'dribbling' bit was just the rex scratching his jaw, an homage to Ray Harryhausen and Willis Obrien's various dinosaurs who've done that in the past (the Rex in "King Kong," and Gwangi n "The Valley of Gwangi"). The latter film is probably why the Allosaurs are blue in "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom".

One shot I've never understood how they achieved was the moment when the SS Venture ploughs through the dock. It looks too photorealistic to be CGI, but it's surely not a practical effect. Some of the best miniature work ever maybe?

I think my favorite is the Brontosaurus escape. I mean when I first saw the 1925 Lost World and saw that, I quickly thought back Lost World: JP and got a huge smile from that. I must've been around 10 or 12 when that happened. By the way, isn't it just funny that both film versions of TLW replaced an ending that featured pterosaurs. I just realized that. Crazy.
