Hinges turned out great. Invest in a quality set of flush trim cutters for future removal of the body posts. Can save a lot of time sanding them off.

I have a nice set I use for snipping sprue, but there was just too much material for them. Decided to go the coping saw route. I owe you a set of the hinges, they'll be coming your way.

You should 3D print a Functioning hood prop to keep it open one u could fold up to prop it up and then fold down and snap in place like a 1:1 😎

Great idea, I'm going to need something to hold the hood open. Not sure if you can tell, but in the thumbnail it's held open with tape.

So glad I found this video. I want to cut my hood, trunk and doors and this helps alot. One question though. Wouldn't the hood have rested on the grill when it came down? Why add those pieces for the hood to rest on?

The absolute best way of removing glue left from stickers and such is to use CRC Label Remover, it doesnt hurt any plastics ive tried it on.
@TandemCTelevision3 жыл бұрын
I'll have to give it a try, thanks!
@kingnorlen3 жыл бұрын
@@TandemCTelevision Its really good. Its also very helpful if u want to try and save some already mounted stickers, u just have to peel a little bit of the sticker to get this spray to affectively loosen up the glue and repeat it til u go the whole sticker, perfect for the rare stuff ^_^

For future reference “goo gone” is amazing at removing adhesive from decals etc and more Gentle on the surface/ item
@TandemCTelevision4 жыл бұрын
I usually have a bottle of Goo Gone laying around, but I didn't at the time. I do like it and lighter fluid, the stuff you put in a Zippo works really well.

Where can I get a gremlin RC body??
@TandemCTelevision2 жыл бұрын
Hey Iowa, that body is from a vintage Planet Toys car. They did a line called Fresh Cherries, was a Gremlin and a Pacer. I think the only place you can find them these days is on ebay.

@@TandemCTelevision great, thanks. We own a 76 amc hornet x, and love gremlins and pacers. Gonna have to troll eBay for these 😁
