I watched the first 2 episodes last night, and I saw the plague doctor exactly ZERO times. Now I'm freaked out. Also, I think in episode 2, Dani goes into the basement to get Flora's doll, and there is a big group of bigger dolls in one corner, and one of them moves its head as Dani leaves. In episode 4 you missed the pleague doctor ghost. He is visible for a second as a shadow silhuette contrast to the window in a room Dani walks by, at the same time as the kids are rushing to her rescue as she is about to walk straight into the Lady in the Lake, that is in the house at this time.

I missed a couple of them, like the child's face in the reflection of the mirror in Flora's bedroom, or when he's standing in the kitchen behind the toaster. Interesting that some of them are so obscured in darkness and you can only see them with the contrast turned way up, but I think that it adds to the oppressive feeling of watching the show. The soldier was always the hardest one to make out, but the ghostly figure at the bottom of the stairs at 06:55 is the Vicar - one of Viola's victims during the time of the plague. They never explained the man in the white stockings and 1600s period clothing, but I guess we can chalk him up to another on of the victims of the Lady of the Lake.

The first ghost is actually when Dani is walking to Bly manor, the plague doctors head is visible on her left in the trees. The second time we see him is 20:50 he appears in the kids classroom to the left between the window and the piano. Then 20:56 on the right of the hall stood against the wall before we then we see him under the stairs.

First time i watched it i only saw a couple hidden ghosts and i thought “ hey thats clever”. After watching a couple review videos on youtube ive since rewatched the show and now i think ive spotted them all. Bloody brilliant if you ask me. Cant wait for another season. 🙂

Just now watched this series. I have enjoyed Mike Flanagan’s work going back to Oculus. I had to comment because Dr. Sleep is one of my favorite books and I loved the movie. Thanks for mentioning it.
