The Lead in Isekai Shikkalu might be one of the most unique. But given the fact The elf priest is tired of Normal OP type Heroes. The fact he's a hero determined to Unalive himself really puts a funny spin on The Isekai Genre. 👨🏿‍💻

Already watched the early eps of a few of these. "Raising Kids" is decent but hasn't blown me away yet. It's pretty chill if that's the vibe you're looking for. "Dungeon People" is a little less chill, but the characters and situation have caught my attention, so I'm still watching that one for now. I started "QA" and "Lieutenant/Magical Girl" but neither really grabbed me. Magical Girl is also half length episodes, which is odd.

I hope that we eventually get a sequel to Skeleton Knight in Another World. Arc is fun to watch and the trouble that he gets into along with his companions is interesting. Also, hope for a sequel to Reincarnated as a Sword as Fran and teacher's relationship is pretty wholesome. By the Grace of the Gods could use a third season but unfortunately, with how much they have changed the tone from the light novels adopting more content might require a drastic tonal shift that may put viewers off. If they were true to the light novels then views would see the story including darker and darker moments as series continued to contrast against the story's more light hearted elements. The contrast is actually quite interesting.

@@juxoq The problem is that the light novels slowly build up to something that is revealed in a later volume and they also cover why things were so screwed up for the main character back on Earth. It is actually really messed up plus it plays into what made him what he is.

Failure frame’s manga was pretty good from what I remember. The first episode was a little rough but I’ll hope it improves. Any ‘I have it out for the goddess that did this to me’ story gets some slack in my book because I just enjoy it.

Dalia in Bloom, I parry everything, and Dungeon People are the best so far for my tastes. (edit, I almost forgot that Wistoria is fantastic so far.) I don't go for instantly overpowered with no work, so Failure Frame is going to have to work to get me to keep watching. PS, thanks for making this. You always show one or two I had missed or ignored and it helps me find the best ones to check out. If you make a follow-up video highlighting your favorites and why in a month or so, I'd really enjoy that also.

Wistoria is, so far at least(on ep 4), surprisingly decent for what it is actually. Great production value, no fan service, and a hint of yet-to-be-seen depth. I've been impressed enough that I'll continue watching it.

There's another isekai, a short form titled "Head Start at Birth". It has a couple of drawbacks: the animation is VN style (mostly static images with a couple of independently and cyclically moving parts, like the hair, but with some short animations inbetween) and the streaming service it's broadcasted at does not have subtitles, so the only available subtitles are (quite well made) french ones (translated by a fan subtitler, not ripped).

I've been reading "Why Does Nobody Remember Me" and it's a pretty great way of world building and revealing the lore and events and such. Hope the anime adaption is good Wistaria is amazing. I can feel the DanMachi aspect in it, but still great. The writer is the same as DanMachi after all lol No Longer Allowed In Another World has been a fun first episode. Looking forward to more Dahlia in Bloom I've read some of, it's good otome isekai. Not much for action, more character and relationship stuff. There is definitely romance, but it's a slow burn Plus Sized Elf is fun for what it is :P Dungeon People is pretty cute/fun so far. Magical Girl and Evil Lieutenant is also cute so far. Floof. But man been awhile since I saw a proper magical girl transformation rest I'm not sure I feel like watching right now. Btw, not Isekai, but kinda fantasy cause has vampries, but Mayonaka Punch has been great so far

Having read the manga, Isekai Shikkaku is the one I've been looking forward to here. It's not Konosuba levels of funny, but it is still quite solid isekai humor. Dahlia in Bloom seems to be a solid exploration of the concept of magical technology through a fairly unique lens on the topic. Dungeon People is not likely the best choice for a dungeon management story in anime, but it seems like it'll have fun with it.

Because (spoiler) in the latest episode, MC talks about cooking rice and it’s phrased as if he knows rice is a thing (from ‘ancient civilization’) but doesn’t have the details of how to actually prepare it. The ancient civilization is brought up as something he was taught by his ‘grandfather’, not personal experience.

Wistoria and Bye, Bye, Earth have been the standouts so far after seeing the initial episodes of most of these. For B tier fantasy, I parry everything is probably the top contender. Dahlia also had a pretty enjoyable first episode. Ossan newbie was kinda funny at first but the joke has already worn thin and I don't see how it can do anything but get worse from here. I enjoy nobodies way cause I like slow dungeon exploration. Kinda reminds me of a non ecchi version of harem labyrinth from a while back.
