Klonoa looks taller and older than he does in Klonoa 2, and the outfit itself while has the color palette of his attire from Door to Phantomile is actually pretty cool and different from the one from 2.

@@steakysteaky6 The title screens themselves say this. Empire of Dreams: 2001 Lunatea's Veil: 2000. Which is weird because they both came out in 2001. Still indeed, Lunatea's Veil came first and then Empire of Dreams a couple of months after.

The Klonoa producer did say they are looking to expand the Klonoa IP and making more remasters to other of its games. I agree, Klonoa doesn’t deserve to be hidden during the times. In fact, i became a Klonoa fan after playing Phantasy Reverie Series

I disagree. He looks much older in that game, so he should sound more like an adult, which he does. His original voice would clash with his design, and honestly, it clashes with his design for Klonoa 2 and any game afterwards that uses the design he had in it. He was a really young kid in DtP, (the PS1 version!) so it would make sense for him to sound younger. Granted, I've only just now started getting deep into the series, I'd like Klonoa himself as a character for years, but never really got invested in his franchise until now, and the Wii remake of DtP was the first game I owned, so maybe I'm biased, but I think going for a voice based on his appearance was a better idea. I know you are probably going to kill me for saying all of this, but I felt like trying to explain it logically with a real-world reason for it would help get my point across better.

I never really played that version at all so I didn't know that the toggable languages setting affects more than just the dialogue part. I will keep in mind on remedying this on the next installment whenever the next game is. Re-uploading entirely doesn't sit well with me but who knows

People will probably kill me for saying this, but I like his voice on the Wii game better. Because his original voice doesn't fit his looks at all, he doesn't look like he should have a high pitched voice like that. Now, in the original game on PS1 when he had a far more chibi-ish style, it worked, but from Klonoa 2 onwards, it clashes with his design, except for the Wii game. Peoples' voices change as they age, and even fictional characters shouldn't be an exception to this, at least when their designs change and/or it's a huge timeskip. Klonoa looks to have gotten at least 4 years older between DtP (PS1) and LV( PS2), as he appears to be a teenager in LV, but appears to be under 10 in DtP (PS1), the wiki said he was about 9 in DtP (PS1) and about 13 or 14 in LV, and that's a huge age jump, his voice should change a LOT between those games.
