Should it also let them finish off ethnically cleaning the region from those Serbs that are still living there? Should it also let them destroy medieval churches that they didnt burn in the last few years? And do you think Serbia should let them rewrite history and let them claim it as Albanian?
@JovanLemon4 жыл бұрын
@@DelijeSerbia look, i am not saying that i am a fan of that, i am just stating the facts because the country, like you kind of mentioned, has its own goverment, and has made borders with us, so technically they are kind of independent... How come in some areas of the map, where a piece of land is split off from the 'mainland' it sometimes has the national flag who owns it, or sometimes the states/region flag? Does it mainly depend on if it's a federal country or not? E.g. for Alaska, it doesn't show the US flag but the Alaskan flag. While island countries show the countries flag.

7:25 The idea that 'might makes right' isn't a thing is a nice idea, but at the end of the day it all comes down to subjective international recognition. If Germany invades the Czech Republic and the rest of the world recognises that as being part of Germany, then hey presto, Germany got away with it. Same thing for the PRC annexing Tibet or Israel annexing the Golan Heights or North Vietnam annexing South Vietnam. 'Might' can be used to change a de facto situation, and the biased, subjective nature of de jure international law often then accommodates this. Case and point; when in 1979 the USA de-recognised Taiwan in order to recognise the ascendent PRC when it became geopolitically advantageous to do so. It all depends on the subjective interests of the third-part observer nation, and basically nothing to do with 'justice'.
