THANK YOU!! Batman Begins is a gem! I always say this film is seriously underrated, and I feel validated by the crab.

We all know Nolan’s worst movie is Dark Knight Rises. Tennet has way more going for it and TDKR has way too much working against it.

48:59 that’s right “The Dark Knight” is truly the best Batman and best comic book superhero film that takes beyond serios and making Nolan’s hardcore action sequences throughout the entire blockbuster success in 2008.

41:38 I think I heard a random comment one time that said the Trinity scene was all practical, all filmed in the desert where the actual test itself took place. As well as the fact that they used an actual nuke from Iran for the big explosion itself. Now that is badass as hell

46:33 love watching a short term mystery crime movie where we see Cypher from the Matrix just pretend to be a good guy along with Trinity which same from the Matrix. Wow Matrix reunion right here! Cypher: Don’t blame me Trinity, I’m just a pretending messenger.

Booooo, Tenet is the best Nolan film; you just don't understand you're supposed to turn the logistical thinking section of your brain off and enjoy the fast-paced ride

Am I the only person who feels as though Oppenheimer was overrated? I won't pretend like I'm a movie buff, but of the three Nolan movies I've watched (Inception, Interstellar, Oppenheimer), I definitely enjoyed Oppenheimer the least.

37:33 ???, they literally say in the Tesseract that its people who built it in the future. The whole movie people just say "its messages from advanced beings" or something, but then we see its Joe sending those messages back in time using gravity. The idea is that the 5th dimensional humans did what joe did for earth, for joe. Going back in time to ensure that the future still exists. Its not just some random alien, its the plot of the movie my guy

In Inception, whenever DiCaprio’s character’s father is in the scene, he is in reality. His father is in the ending scene.

41:48 well Oppenheimer has the best explosion scene since watching again in Peacock along with the sound proof speaker on my TV screen and it was bombastic and watching two parts takes enough time to understand how good it is and makes the inventor as he created the atomic bombs realistic in years. Even you watch on Prime this summer, it will be a lot explosion sound than Peacock quality it is.

I have issues about Interstellar because the mid is pretty weak and the first and including the ending was the most interesting part about this premise, the adulthood of his kids were pretty uninteresting and even we have to see Casey Affleck’s character was a total jerk to be as grumpy bro who didn’t care so much and it’s a bit waste and even Matt Damon as a boring astronaut was totally weak and pretty stupid where it’s a just a bad guy who wanted to explore and escape away from these people. It’s not as good even complaining about The Prestige ending, it’s a not as interesting. At least this space sequence, the visuals and the ending should be at least more fascinating than the mid does.

Bro I don’t understand why so many people give the dark Knight rises so much crap. It’s not that bad. I really like it. Y’all wack. Then again, I’m a contrarian at times. Also I like Bane’s voice. Is it not as good as the others? Yeah, I suppose so, but it’s still good. Watch Browntable’s video on it.

Man, the point of the weird skirting around the mass surveilence issue of Batman's method to catch The Joker in Returns makes me wonder if it became a plot point in Rises. Bane pointing out how the GCPD and even Batman have been spying on Gotham citizens, on top of the corruption present through the demands of the Dent Act, would genuinely make it understandable as to why the Gotham populace aside from the criminals would collapse society under the command of an revolutionary. It then makes Batman's sacrifice more impactful, punishing himself to redeem the ideals of justice of the shortcomings of the establishment and his own vigilantism.

No. Why is Inception at the halfway point of this list? Yeah, Oppenheimer and The Dark Knight and The Prestige are great, but there’s such an impressive world here, that is brimming with creativity and that is all Nolan. It’s also his most human movie (besides maybe Interstellar), with a powerful relationship at its core. I think each of the three other films that I mentioned perfect one or two great things (story, characters, action, visuals, music), but Inception does all those things very well, IF not masterfully. I love all these films (except Interstellar, which I just respect, like you with Dunkirk), but to have the best sci-fi action movie of at least the past 30 years in the middle of this list seems to set an impossibly high standard for everything else that follows

Nice video! Thought of feedback: there’s a few points where you avoid discussing certain plot points to avoid spoilers but then proceed to discuss other spoilers about the movie (interstellar) If there’s a movie I hadn’t seen yet I’ll just skip that part of the video so I think you should just dive in and share your thoughts on the juicy bits (especially if it’s already a half spoiler review anyways) since I’d love to hear your thoughts! Great video!

30:57 The Prestige is a pretty overrated movie. It’s good don’t get me wrong and it’s a mysterious magic movie, but the twist is very anticlimactic that it’s very demeaning and it didn’t felt very conclusive about the ending. Even two good performances by Bale and Jackman were good and good young first early babe Johansson did well and that’s about that. The Illusionist is way better than The Prestige unless nobody stood up to Edward Norton’s magician movie so okay fine whatever.

12: Following (A draft of something better. It’s like the MK8 Rainbow Road as a movie) 11: Insomnia (Omg! That’s the genie! As a murderer? And the guy from Jack and Jill? Wow!) 10: Dunkirk (The Joker, Scarecrow, Bane, and Harry Styles in one movie that isn’t TDK trilogy. Is this just The Dark Knight 4?) 9: Oppenheimer (Old guys in boardroom meetings can actually be interesting) 8: Batman Begins (A twist villain done right! Certainly better than Mr. That Was His Mistake and Mrs. Mayor Sheep Dweeb) 7: Tenet (This movie feels like I’m taking drugs, but call me a pothead, because I love this film) 6: Memento (?Again about this movie was what .Forgot I !Lol ?Funny so I aren’t 😂) 5: Interstellar (I’m just going to cry for this entry so: 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Hold on! Timothee Chalamet was in this movie?!) 4: The Dark Knight Rises (Am I Phantom Menacing? Maybe. But this movie is very special to me as a Pittsburgher at heart) 3: Inception (BWOMMMMM! This movie is awesome! BWOMMMM! Hans Zimmer truly is a genius! BWOMMM! He must have took forever thinking of a melody for this score! BWOMMMM!) 2: The Prestige (My braincells…they’re gone. Batman + Wolverine + Black Widow + Gollum + David Fricking Bowie=Banger. That’s what I call nerd math!) 1: The Dark Knight (My favorite movie ever! I would make a pencil disappear or rob a bank or burn a pile of cash just to see this for the first time again! Heath Ledger is fantastic! He’s the Joker, baby!)
