Thats what I adore about the N brand. Its all about the FUN! They dont care who's the fasted around the Nurburgring, they dont care about 0-100 records, its just about the pure adrenaline filled fun of driving, and making every day driving more fun and engaging.

I'm a petrolhead, but I say that electric cars should come with that fake geabox feature and fake sound(which does need calibrating coz it sounds like a beamNG video game 😂) it really helps put the fun factor into what could be a boring quiet experience. And if its not fun for you, at least I'll be pretty funny🤷‍♂️😂

Great vid Paul. I would have liked to see you do a lap in anger pulling gears as it's that tech us ICE car lovers love.. I've watched other reviews on Driving Enthusiast and Car Sauce and gee it sounded so go being hammered ripping gears.. Cheers..

3:22 Doe's anyone know if when using "N pedal", single pedal or even just radar cruise control does the car apply the brake lights? It may seem like a stupid question but sometimes you'll be behind a car and they seem to be just hitting the brakes like a madman (on off on off) and I wonder if they're just overriding radar cruise or a just sh!t driver's

Yep it puts the brake lights on when it decelerates with regen braking once it reaches a certain deceleration threshold.

I'm no EV fan but from watching other reviews where that gearbox/rev feature is shown being used in anger I can honestly say it looks fkn awesome.. Your comment makes you seem like a flog especially as ICE cars have fake engine noise pumped in via the speakers as Paul said.. The fact this Hyundai has this incredible technology where it simulates a dual clutch 'box allowing you to pull gears like normal and not only with sound but the shifts being felt makes me want to have a drive of one.. Having over 600HP is another reason.
