I know this isn't narutos series anymore, but it would be super cool if he learnt a bunch of different hidden jutsu to make up his lack power from losing kurama with versatility. Imagine he uses Rasengan in conjunction with shadow paralysis. He sends a clone with rasengan to hit the enemy, while using the clones shadow to extend the shadow paralysis jutsu, in order to paralysis his enemy for an easy rasengan to the face.

I have a question that I’ve been dying to get answers on. If the shadow possession jutsu manipulates the users shadow, how is it able to be absorbed by karma? Karma isn’t supposed to be able to absorb jutsu that manipulate things that physically exist, only chakra based jutsu. If the shadow already exists and is being manipulated, it should be a hard counter to the karma. Right? Is there something I’m missing here?

Why couldn't one detonate shadow's that would be so cool an offensive one. Have you any idea how hard it would be to avoid shadows knowing they can explode? How could you tell which shadows will blow up? The applications for such a jutsu would be absurdly useful. I could see it being a last resort. Step on a shadow and it goes boom. Or a Shadow siphon Jutsu that the user who has seized the shadow of an enemy can drain the chakra of the target it would fix the flaw of someone like shikamaru who lacks abundant chakra the drawback being inability to move nor utilize other jutsu during it as it would require a lot of focus so it likely would be best used in a place where the user has rigged with a lot or traps or seals prior to an encounter. Or what if a member of the nara clan could become an actual shadow and thus incorporeal temporarily for example allowing a very unique defensive technique.

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move and Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them. 2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.

Use narutos chakra to beat momo who... 4. Arrogantly assumed he would win the chakra struggle casually. Momo was enraged, humiliated and vastly underestimated boruto. Underestimating a foe in this series has killed tons of the characters. Boruto at that time was chuunin level at best wielding chakra vastly beyond any other shinobi as it was narutos. Sasuke doesn't have the reserves his strengths are in other areas.

To further my point, the vanishing rasengan only hit momo because everyone besides sasuke thought it was pitiful. Momo has tons of power and no clue how to actually fight, similar to kaguya. Isshiki likely changed after kaguya nearly ended him which is why he was so skilled but thats just my guess.

Daily reminder: Isshiki tried to feed Kaguya to the ten tails but failed miserably when she defended herself and clapped him so bad that he was crawling on the ground in his own blood pool and had to go into hiding for centuries just to recover.
