I think that a draft pick that fails because of injury (Sims, Ki-Jana Carter) isn't a true "bust" the way that (for example) Ryan Leaf was, and should not be placed on the same lists. But whoever compiles these lists feels differently.

I think it is unfair to put Billy Sims (Lions RB) on this list. The guy only played 5 years in the league, yet he still managed to make it to 3 Pro Bowls and was a 2 time All Pro. I would have picked Jahvid Best or Kevin Jones as the Lions' representative on this list.

ÒMG!!!!, Owen Gill. Gill, is one of the most disappointing, forgettable, top picks the Hawks, have ever had. The disappointing aspect of his selection for me comes , from a team and personal perspective. Firstly, from a team perspective Gill, was selected as insurance for Curt Warner, our 1983, rookie sensation. Warner's 1400 rushing yards and 13 TD'S had powered the Hawks to the afc championship game in their first playoff appearance . Sadly, Warner, tore his ACL in the first game of the 84 season and the Hawks running game went down with him. No one knew how he would be when he came back, hence the selection of Owen Gill, just in case Warner couldn't go. But he was a bust from the get go, I don't recall Gill even playing for the Hawks before he ended up with the Colts . The biggest disappointment though, was that Gill, was born in London, even though I was a kid at the time I remember how much was made of this. Gill, was going to be the first British non kicker to make his mark in the NFL, everyone, who followed the NFL over here, regardless of what team they followed wanted him to succeed. Sadly Gill, was a bust and he disappeared almost without trace taking so many UK fans hopes with him, I didn't even remember him until this video. Go Hawks
