Football Addiction exactly. So what if they have 3 good running backs? Jamaal Williams isn’t essential and will get expensive, Aaron Jones is absolutely necessary, and Dillon can easily fill Williams role for cheaper. It’s basically what the 49ers did with Deforrest Buckner

CJ Prosise is a sad sad sad case. In College at my Beloved Notre Dame, he was Heisman Candidate at one point his Senior Season. His first year he had flashes, but that hope we had for him is gone. I get he is still young, but hes old in NFL RB terms. He was recruited to ND to be a WR. Maybe CJ could switch to WR, like a slot or relief Boundary. Dude is still a bolt of Lightning and runs downhill. He has legs the size of telephone polls. Cierre Wood, Jonas Gray, CJ Prosis, Josh Adams and Dexter Williams are all of RBs that were drafted. The most succesful is Jonas Gray thus far, with Adams playing for the Lowly Jets and Williams last i know was with Green Bay. When My Raiders took Darren McFadden i called and text all my Denver Broncos buddies saying "Game Over", yes he had some incredible plays and sound seasons, but never that franchise leading dominant play everyone thought he would have.

I know this is mostly an aside, but how are you not going to mention Aaron Jones in the list of great 2017 RBs? Also, that Dillon pick was a lot better than TPS gives the Packers credit for. Matt LaFleur likes to use multiple RBs, they clearly anticipated not being able to keep both Jones and Jamaal Williams, and Dillon's size makes him ideal for power runs, which is good for Jones as doing fewer of those should help extend his prime years. So...yeah.

I seriously do not understand how you have Ron Dayne on this list. Obviously he wasnt hall of fame but to call him a bust is far off. In 2000 he had 700+ yrds & 7 tds and help NYG to the SB. In 2001 He had over 500+ yrds & 5 tds. He lasted 7 seasons in the NFL most backs on avg last 8 yrs max.
