Maybe it’s for younger audience

@@alexanderbrucegill8091 anyone below the age of 14 will not need to or even have kinematics in their curriculum including these formulas, unless theyre preparing for some olympiad, in which case theyre smart enough to understand basic concepts like this. more over even if there was somehow a 6 year old learning this for non olympiad preperation purposes then they wouldnt be called a "physics student" as at that age there will only be a science subject including all parts of science. so there was basically, 0 use of this video

Yes guys we can also solve this through energy conservation. If we're to take the whole motion without directing any axis the equation would be: *1/2mV₀²+mgh = 1/2m(V₀cosθ)²+mg(hmax)* ~(V₀cosθ because at the maximum point there would be only x-velocity vector directing)~ For a specific direction like the y-axis, the equation would be: *1/2m(V₀sinθ)²+mgh = mg(hmax)* ~(No factor of kinetic energy in RHS because there is no velocity in the y-axis direction at max point)~ Hope y'all understood it!

At maximum height, h max: vf = 0 (standstill on mid-air) a = -9.81 m/s² vf² = (vi(sinx))²- 2gh 0² = (16sin70°)² - 2(9.81)(h) h = 11.522m (from top of building) h max = 10m + 11.522m h max = 21.522m

Yeah, no disrespect intended, but he always just says that it's some high level physics and then just does a video of plugging in numbers into a formula. Id much prefer a derivation, because that's actually physics, not just simple maths.
