Most gifted athlete on the PGA Tour. His best is better than anybody else’s. Already comfortably in the HOF. If he stays healthy he’s capable of 4-5 more majors and 20-25 tour victories over the next 6 years.

DJ understds its not a game of perfect, and deals with his misses in a positive way, the three birdies on the front stabilized his round and the lay ups on the back were keys to his 5 shot victory

johnson is gonna be one of the all time greats when he hangs up the wrenches. a few more majors and maybe the players and he will have it all. i feel he's the most dominant golfer since tiger in the early 2000's.

He has a lot of talent don't get me wrong. But he just won a Master's in November with zero patrons. Johnson has lost a handful of majors with a lead in the final round. He has all the talent in the world, but to even compare him on any level of Tiger Woods is an absolute joke. Or even Phil or Rory on that hand. I would take Rory any day of the week.
@blakebarone18094 жыл бұрын
Strange. I love DJ, but he needs another 3 majors at very least to be an all timer. He’s 36... 40 tournament wins and 6 majors is lefty territory and all time great status, 1 major and ten more tourneys, he’s Vijay.

It would be much better if it was hole then stroke then total in the bottom left. That way the numbers would be in order.
@sleepyh14 жыл бұрын
1) most of these camera angles are absolutely horrible. 2) why are they counting strokes in the bottom left? knowing how many shots a player is at through a random # of holes is useless. I cannot recall the host and/or their guest while listening to a satellite sports talk channel. The topic was naturally The Masters tournament and how nobody brings flash to the game. Firstly, the game is able to operate during the pandemic while keeping everyone safe. That is the biggest victory for the game and everyone. Now, to say that breaking records for Major tournaments is not flashy is simply misguided and grossly just wrong. The game of golf has brought in young, aspiring golfers, amateurs, international players, etc. I originally started watching golf because of Tiger Woods and continue to watch because of the variety and competition at an elite level. Flash to the game is destroying a field during a Major tournament, The Masters, and making the game itself look routine. To those aforementioned "sports analysts", open your eyes. The issue is not with "flash", DJ has reached a tier where the game doesn't look that way to the observer. He's a Master, just won THE MASTERS...to those critics I say, don't blame a victor for winning; it's a different playing field now....DJ vs. each course....make them harder...redesign....watch him go -2 and the rest of the field above par. It's an answer to a rhetorical question.

Congratulations to the guy, but, really, the course was a pitch n putt, ultra soft greens, virtually a club for every shot in the bag,backspin anywhere, from the rough, bunkers, everywhere, they don’t even look like golfers, like Robots, they get the distance charts out, plan the route, pick the club, fire!!, then repeat the performance till it’s on the green, and my! There some wonderful and weird looking putting contraptions, all this tech may improve the hitting of the ball, but there’s so little emotion about it.
