What I also found a lot better was their general reaction was more positive and less dramatic (especially Cat) when they got told what the challenge was. In previous seasons it's like 😱 you want us to do a portrait? Or 😱 you want us to do Japanese? Yeh, it's Ink Master, what do you expect? 🤦

Three champions at the end. Phenomenal performance from each of the tattoo artists. And each contestant competed with composed mutual respect and dignity. My favourite season by far.

Absolutely. The only thing I don't like is Ryan feels the need to drop F bombs in places that it isn't needed. I swear all the time, but Ryan, and at times DJ feel the need to throw one in whenever they can and it comes across as crass. I work in transport and like I said, I swear all the time, but for some reason I found it a bit much at times

I have not seen this season, but I can tell at the first three minutes that James Tex is a very talented, drama-free, humble and deserving winner. 🏆 I neeeeeeed his Japanese tattoos, please. 🙏🏼

This was by far my favorite season of Ink Master. Stupid drama at a minimum, focus on the art, and the best sportsmanship ever exhibited in the show. I just get more and more impressed every time I see the video of Cat running up to James to be the first to congratulate him. She is hands down the most gracious artist to not place 1st in the history of the show.

That was INCREDIBLE! Anthony, there is no 2% failure. All the way through this I kept thinking, "well, where's Anthony's? i want to see his..." I can't imagine that your Dad is anything but 100% proud of you. You were right beside him, it was his 26 yrs of experience that won, nothing more. Fabulous both of you!

Season 16 was honestly one of the best seasons of the show, even with the new judges it was great. This season had so many amazing artists too. And James deserved the win.

James Tex kinda remind me of Bruce Campbell lol binged watched the whole episode, so far the best season most contestants aren't some self entitled and centered they were so sport and respectful to each other and less drama. I love the Kitsune mask that Anthony made and the rest but James really deserved the title as Ink Master, Talent + Experience + Creativity = Executions his bad tattoo were not that really bad and was so minimal his best creations were insane good.
