You saw what Oregon had done to Colorado last year, Oregon not only had one of the best O lines, but also one of the best D lines in College last year. Cam passed for over 400 yards on Oregon last year. This is the best team he has played with so far in his career. Barring no key injuries this could be a great season for the Canes.

Negatives : leaves cleans pocket, feet and throwing aren’t in sync, he glides back, doesn’t throw with any timing (footwork’), holds ball, looks for splash play or highlight play which is why people are hype. It’s sexy but doesn’t win games or translate to NFL. Can he read the field? Very few timing throws aka 1,2,3 back foot hit ball out. Clearly facing inferior defense. Wasn’t pressured often and when was it’s because he’s holding the ball. Didn’t throw receivers open or manipulate coverage . Undisciplined passer. Positives Extreme composure and command of offense. Short term meomory nd confident in his arm nd legs. Great athlete. Shown ability to throw in tight windows. Improve nd extend plays. Is accurate and good placement when he doesn’t hold ball. Has a lot of potential and is an qb guru dream as he has many positive traits. Look forward to watching him play especially vs competition. His ceiling is so high once he becomes a qb that’s an athlete and not athlete playing qb. Lacks many basic tools at qb in regards to consistent down to down success. The splash espn highlights type play is why the hype is so high.
