She gets cool lore and now she thinks she's a queen. We also all camped out in Torkoal's shell during the tournament. Torkoal is famous for his great attitude and sportsmanship, I respect him quite a bit. However, he has seen worse results lately, as notorious community villain Blastoise has been sending him threatening emails to stop him from showing up to tournaments. While I disagree with Blastoise's methods as usual, you can't deny that it has had an effect on Torkoal's results, allowing Blastoise to barely snag his spot on this list.

Fantastic video. Turtles have the most modestly respectable natural bulk in the game. They have the ability Huge Shell, one of the best abilities in the game. Couple that with their skills to drive cars, planes, and hovercrafts, and Turtles have some of the best tournament results in the game. Tiptup has the best acceleration and handling in the game, couple that with it's respectable natural speed in the game and you have one of the best contenders for any% speedruns in the game. Leaving out Torkoal was a crime. Also, I don't think Shuckle is technically a turtle. While its inside may have never been revealed, it has been able to poke its head out from multiple different holes, which is something turtles (and tortoises) cannot do. The shell also has some holes in it, which are not present on other turtles. This leads to Shuckle being a spaghetti bug (it's part bug type y'know) making its home inside of a meteoric rock it found on a beach (it was first introduced in generation 2 in a house that is part of a "city" on a beach). This makes Shuckle closer to a hermit crab than a turtle.

Idk I like Wolfes videos. He does repeat himself on the same topics every video, but it’s clearly because he is aiming for a super general audience that he doesn’t expect to have seen his other videos. The picks are also obviously biased because there isn’t a clear metric to gauge the overall performance of a group of Pokémon across a decade of unique formats where most Pokémon weren’t available for most formats. I see them more as short history lessons of competitive Pokémon which I find interesting.
