Hey there, fam! Charlotte Dobre back on the channel with some seriously wild stories that'll have you questioning humanity's audacity level. Buckle up, because we're diving into the world of exes who took 'audacious' to a whole new level!
We've all been there, right? You think you know someone, you invest time, love, maybe even a bit of your sanity, only for them to pull a move that leaves you staring in disbelief. Well, get ready to hear some jaw-dropping tales that'll make you wonder just what planet some people are from!
From exes who pop back into your life with the audacity to ask for favors, to those who show up uninvited to family events like they're still part of the clan, we're covering it all. And trust me, the audacity knows no bounds!
But wait, it gets even crazier! Picture this: you're happily moving on with your life, minding your own business, when out of the blue, your ex slides into your DMs with the audacity to hit you up for relationship advice. Um, excuse me? Last time I checked, that ship had sailed!
And if you thought ghosting was bad, just wait until you hear about the exes who had the audacity to ghost you, only to resurface months later with a casual "Hey, stranger" like they didn't disappear off the face of the earth without a trace. Classic move, am I right?
But fear not, fam, because with every audacious ex comes a valuable lesson in boundaries and self-respect. So grab your popcorn and get ready to cringe, laugh, and maybe shed a tear or two as we delve into the absurd world of exes with the audacity.
Alright, that's a wrap for today's video! Don't forget to hit that like button, subscribe for more juicy content, and share your own audacious ex stories in the comments below. Until next time, stay fabulous, and remember: never underestimate the audacity of an ex!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

I don't think she was looking for your sympathy. She did do something millions of people won't do, and that is, take accountability for her actions. At least she acknowledged she was the problem and worked on it. So she's not as bad as you or she might think of herself. Too many people go around spreading that negativity to everyone they come into contact with and blaming everyone else for their behavior. So she at least deserve props for acknowledging she was the issue.

From experience: BPD is like a superpower for manipulation. -She will apologize, beg, plead, lovebomb like pro, and humiliate herself (or go thermonuclear rage at you for pushing her away) to you to get you back. And she will keep coming, over and over and over. For weeks or months (or years). -Then she will convince you that your problems are you attacking her, flipping the script.

First poster is a textbook narcissist. That text from her boyfriend is literally describing the behavior of a narcissist. Based on her casual and somewhat gleeful demeanor while telling the story, she clearly is NOT better now. And she’s still shaming him because he would call his mom for support after their fights. Sounds like she resented his support system and that he was telling the truth about her to someone else. Narcissists never change.

Well as she was diagnosed with BPD, she is a "textbook borderline" NOT a "textbook narcissist" Let's not armchair diagnose people. A word of advice take it for somebody who’s been happily married for 22 years and counting. Don’t go to your mother when you’re having a fight with your S.O. you will end up, forgiving him but all the stuff you’re complaining to your mom about is not so easy for her to forgive, and it will cause problems in your relationship. I used to do the same thing and it made my mom look at my husband different when I was just having a meltdown and it really was my fault, but I made her believe it was his. Same with friends don’t tell them every fight you have because they will start judging him as well. This is one of the best pieces of advice I can give you about marriage.

@Ciela531
@Ciela531 2 сағат бұрын
@@jessislistless from memory - in the first minute she literally admits to cheating on him a LOT, pretty sure she legit says "I could not stop myself from cheating on this man". And that's her Intro 😅 She then goes on to explain how they broke up - she was getting out of the shower and discovers him looking through her phone and apparently seeming very upset by what he was finding. But she says that she knew he hadn't gotten to the "really bad stuff" yet because he was still talking to her or something. She literally chases him around the apartment trying to get her phone back while he's finding all this evidence of her cheating. In the process her towel falls off. He then somehow manages to lock her outside of the apartment in the hallway. So she's naked and banging on the door, screaming at him to give her phone back. Other neighbors are around. Sounded like he didn't take long to let her back in. She snatches her phone back. He says they're over. She starts collecting some of her clothes and stuff/ packs a quick bag to walk out. He proceeds to get all of her makeup and other clothes and things of hers that she left behind and Throws them out the window onto the sidewalk below. She discovers this when she exits the building. It's pouring down rain so she just leaves all her stuff there apparently. ... And they get back together a week later and continue to date for another 8 months Which she also either implied or stated that she was cheating on him still during that time as well He also at some point tells her he's pretty sure she has BPD. She gets diagnosed a year later and nonchalantly talks about how much she's been working on herself and everything (If I missed anything, please add in a reply)

I'm a vintage lady, and in 1980 I worked with a beautiful woman who told me to get men and keep them you must treat them like shit, and the crazier you acted, the more they would want you. While I didn't have the personality for this, she sure did. I watched for years as she had men fawning all over her, buying her gifts, taking her on trips, buying her cars, etc. Take that for whatever it's worth to you. I have, throughout my life seen this same scenario played out over and over. Of course, men do the same to women. I have seen women fight over men that aren't worth their time.

Most people in abusive relationships were abused, or neglected, growing up. They were taught that being treated poorly is normal, and it can take a lot to figure out it's not. Especially before the age of the internet. I was one of those people. I started dating a grown man at 15, and moved in with him to escape home. Only for him to switch up on me, and become the worst abuser in my life. I finally left him after four years, but immediately went into another abusive relationship. Although not as bad, it was still terrible. It only took me 9 months to leave him, and left him peeing blood in the process. 😈 I vowed to never let a man treat me like that again, but it still took years for me to realize I was still letting myself be treated like crap. Cheaters and emotional abusers. I have given up on dating. I still need to do some work, and I tend to attract the worst of men. At least alone I'm the only one who can hurt me.

“You’re intimidating” is usually projection, one should reframe it as “I’m intimidated by you” because it’s on the person feeling that way (which is fine and valid). Unless the other is actively doing things to intimidate them it’s often just because of circumstances, like the role they play (e.g. oldest friend, sister, mom, authority figure, etc). It’s ok to feel intimidated but know the difference between your feelings and the other’s behaviour actually being intimidating. It can obviously be both too, but chances are if you feel intimidated before even meeting them that’s what you’re bringing to the potluck, not them…

I met a boyfriend's sister at a restaurant dinner. She had brought a nerf gun to dinner. Someone handed it to me, and it went off and hit her. She was so offended! Man, my in-laws are wonderful. I really struggle with small talk and I opened with that statement the first time I met them and 6 years later they still understand its difficult but they include me in everything but never expect for me to say too much especially around people I haven't met before. I love them all so much and they have never been anything but kind to me and have made me feel like I'm part of the family. My now husband took me home to meet his GRANDPARENTS the first time we ever hung out because according to him "he immediately knew" and I immediately fit in with them. I couldn't imagine being part of another family now.

I never understand men or women who stay with people who cheat on them even the 1st time, especially if you've been dating less than a year (leopards don't change their spots, nothing's ever really an 'accident'). But I guess if you're that good in 'certain areas', you can get away with anything. Remember, that all dies down and then you're left with the actual person. A person that genuinely cares for you will never give you ultimatums, compare you to others, not offer to participate in pay for things, or put you down. A person that loves you, will want you to be happy. Ladies, a man will go OUT OF HIS WAY to prove himself to you. He'll find a way to be with you. Don't take anything less.

I have a kid with someone who checks every box for Malignant Narcissism (and most for the other dark triad disorders.) Being with someone like that often exposes you to mental, emotional, financial, and sometimes even physical and SA abuse. Part of a Narcissist's relationship is to devalue their partner and put them in a place where they can't leave. It's not so easy to get out of that by design.

My ex was so crazy. He tried to have me arrested from across the country. We lived in Arizona at the time. He said he was going to get a haircut, took my car and left. He ended up giving my car to a friend in exchange for a ride to the airport. He flew to his home in Pennsylvania. he was so mad that I got my car back called the cop saying I forged his signature on his pension check. The pension check was mailed to Pennsylvania and Wells Fargo had a digital picture copy of the check. There was no way I was able to physically forge his signature on a federal check. The sheriff was even on the phone with my crazy ex while he was screaming and cursing. Accusing the sheriff of not doing his job. Sad to say, but I struggle to believe that the first girl has genuinely changed internally with the flippant way she recounts the story and her exposing the humiliating things her ex did to prove his love as well as his personal messages. She may have changed some of her behavior externally after realizing that no one will stick around and it benefits her in getting what she wants if she tries to treat people better. But she still seems smug and proud of her past behavior, so chances are she's just switched to more benign or covert manipulations.

"People have such a hard time being alone" I know a lot of people who are stuck in relationships because leaving each other means hella financial insecurity on both sides. It's insane trying to live on your own nowadays. Most of my friends room with one another because rent per month is $900+ in most areas, and that's like all of one of their checks out of two per month. And no, not all of these people are "working at McDonald's" or whatever. A lot of them have jobs that pay quite a bit above our state minimum wage ($10.33/hr), yet they still can't even afford to buy a house or rent an apartment by themselves. Finances play a huge part.

I HATED the dating games I saw played on guys and guys would play on me. It sucked and I just wanted honesty and to get to know someone. When I put myself out there for the last time, I put EVERYTHING in my online dating bio. What I wanted from life, my religious beliefs, what I expected from a relationship, etc. If a guy asked me questions that were CLEARLY answered in my bio, I didn’t take him seriously. Guess who I married, the guy that laid everything, good and bad, out in his bio and asked me intelligent and thoughtful questions about what I had put in my bio. Neither of us wanted to play games and we both appreciated it in the other. We’ve been married for 11 years and I love him more every day.

Random request, but could we start a tradition where we end all Charlotte videos with the iconic Charlotte Reiki sessions? I swear they work and it’s just always a nice transition back to the real life. ❤❤❤

Hello I was diagnosed with BPD six years ago and my gods I can't stand the amount of people who try using it as an excuse. Ma'am you're not Amber Heard, you're just traumatized and only know how to react with further manipulation lol

I had a guy I was dating start leaving stuff at my apartment. I got so mad. I collected his stuff and took it to his place and said, "You forgot this." He was offended. I needed to get him out of my life, but he wouldn't go quietly.

I’ve been in two mentally abusive relationships and two mental and physical abusive ones, and didn’t “learn” till the last one. But even then, when someone is in any type of abusive relationship, they may see the signs, may have the thought to get out (then feel guilty about the thought) but have been broken down, mentally, so bad that they think 1. “I deserve this” 2. “No one is going to love me like this person 3. “I love this person too much to leave and hurt them” 4. “I’d be a bad girlfriend/boyfriend” 5. “Friends and family will look at me and think worse of me because I couldn’t make this work” 6. “I don’t know how to get out or who to ask for help because I don’t have anyone other than this person” So many other bad thoughts that make us stay but those are the ones on the top of my head! I literally had my ex husband say my family will HATE me because they look down on divorce.

That story about the brother was almost the same scenario with my brother and his ex wife, but instead of trying to fight, I purposely pointed out things or sent certain messages that was about both of their behavior. She would of course see it and call me the b, but she also was physically throwing and attacking my brother. If you don’t like the truth then don’t be a b or cheat on one another and use marriage as a band-Aid

First time I was ever disappointed by something Charlotte said. She’s usually so nice and understanding. Some people are shy and nervous around people they don’t know. To say they’re quiet because they don’t want anyone to see the real them was unfair and insulting to shy people everywhere. We’re not all comfortable talking to/in front of people we don’t know. It doesn’t mean we’re bad people hiding the real us.

Agree. Way too generalized statement to make. I'm not actually shy but I'm quiet in the beginning because I'm observing, lol---you learn a lot more by listening.

I learned how to say hi and some other things in their language for when I first met his mom and her friends. Her friends actually gave him money to take me out because they liked me. On my first birthday with him, his mom’s card to me it said, “from mommy”. Small things can go a long way and I’m am so lucky to have her as a mother in law now!
