Delighted beyond words to finally see a Pooh retrospective of this caliber. I’ve figured the franchise would be the perfect subject for this type of video given the amount of content to dig through and the overall nostalgia aspect, and given my own intense love for these characters, this exceeded my expectations. Extra grateful for the early morning laughs this provided

It's taken a while for someone to compile an almost-complete overview of the franchise's history (in such a witty and professional manner I'll add) but this video feels so worth the wait. ‘Really appreciate all the love given to each film, even the lesser ranked on the list, especially the dives into deeper details behind some of their decisions I’ve yet to see anyone else besides myself acknowledge (The sharper yet slightly off attitude of the characters in Piglet’s Big Movie being based off the book’s depictions, etc) and how the balancing of emotion and humor is so vital to a good Pooh film. All around it’s a stellar examination, it's always great seeing how others rate these films next to mine. Keep it up with the high quality!

I think you misunderstood The Tigger Movie a bit. When you mentioned Tigger’s behavior, he didn’t intentionally cause things like the boulder falling onto Eeyore’s house, though he was shown to be reckless as he did throw Piglet’s chair into the fire. The house for Eeyore was also originally meant to be the “family room” installed on Tigger’s house, but he instead gave it to Eeyore as an apology for destroying Eeyore’s house a few times from his reckless bouncing. Pooh and his friends do kinda learn their lesson for the misleading letter when Tigger figures out his family was fake when they arrive at his party and leaves making them go out in the cold, though at the same time Tigger was going back to his delusion to find his family tree. Though it’s understandable to why Tigger had the obsession to find his family as it’s even been proven in past WTP media like the first movie and The New Adventures series that he usually feels like a burden to everyone and is always just in their way when he wants to bounce with others. He did have Roo but at the time wasn’t as close with him until after this movie. He usually felt more like a problem mistakenly and when Roo brought up family it made him get into the whole search for other Tiggers and the Tigger family tree. Like yeah I can agree that it has imperfections still, but I wouldn’t say Tigger is unlikable in this film, especially since he again apologizes and makes up to his friends like when he destroyed Eeyore’s house and Piglet’s chair, and even considered Rabbit’s advice. And lastly, the avalanche scene you may have indirectly mentioned actually did help Tigger change even if it felt so soon. He was willing to take the bullet to save his friends from the avalanche which I thought was a powerful moment in the film. Plus Roo risks his life to save Tigger and masters the “Whooper De Dooper” bounce, which is what made Tigger realize he’s like his little brother and got them closer. It’s an underrated Winnie the Pooh film honestly, even if it has some imperfections I think it deserves more credit than it gets.
@RealKillianTube3 ай бұрын
But do Pooh and the others ever acknowledge their mistake? I think that’s the big issue for me. I can see they feel bad throughout the film but it’s never really addressed. And as far as Tigger goes, fair points, but I don’t think any of that makes him a good protagonist for a feature length film. Agreed that it’s underrated in general but I think that’s mostly for how it looks, which is gorgeous
@CaffeiToonEntertainment3 ай бұрын
@@RealKillianTube what they did was the message of the film which Tigger figured out in the end when each of them said a part of what was on the letter, Tigger was actually happy they wrote the letter as his family realizing they’re really his family even though they’re not blood-related. And Tigger does show a good amount of development overtime after his reckless beginning.

Here's hoping somebody out there will adapt these Winnie-the-Pooh Bear stories with the same heart as Christopher Robin or the 2D Pooh movies. Be they hand drawn, cgi, stop motion, or even puppets. Also for that Tigger and Pooh Musical one, I think that since its for younger kids, aside from it being a little slow, there's too many characters. Especially if the new characters just recycle what personalities the main cast already have. Though you can make a big ensemble cast work even in a kids film, as long as the characters are varied and distinguishable from one another, and play a major role. Thus giving them an actual reason for being there in the first place. And hey, if you're having trouble making up new characters, just skim through the old Milne poems and memoirs for mentions of a character, then expand upon them. For an Example: There's a penguin character that the real Christopher Robin had as a stuffie, and was made into a character in a 2016 book. (Obviously, that version isn't Public domain, but the original penguin is.)

1:25 NO WAY, MUSIC FROM THE GBC GAME! Gosh, that game was a significant game in my childhood. And I know I'm not the only one who appreciates its music - the Super Mario World romhacking community actually put 3 of its songs into the Super Mario World sound font, so it can be used in SMW romhacks. You won't believe how great the 16-bit version of the "Tigger" theme sounds as a pirate theme.

Three years ago, Kostas Triantafyllopoulos sadly passed away. He was the Greek voice of Tigger and the fact that he was never re-casted over the course of the franchise alongside Giannis Stefopoulos(Rabbit) and Dinos Soutis (Eeyore) makes me consider Christopher Robin as the final movie in terms of chronological order.

One point of Blood and Honey worth noting. AA Milne’s original books are in the public domain. Anything Disney ADDED to the franchise is not. If the creators try to play off elements of the series that aren’t in Milne’s books I assume Disney has lawyers on speed dial.
