Panthers fan here, I think Wilson has a very bright future ahead. He was pressured the whole game, sacked 6 times (could've been a lot more if not for his mobility), and still came somewhat close in the end. This guy has all the makings of a top 5 QB, maybe even top 3. Glad we won't have to play him again until 2025.

Zach is a rookie and has never taken a snap in a regular season game. From the opening snap, he was under tremendous pressure and took a beating. Even so, he never looked defeated or rattled. His desire to win was still very apparent. I was very impressed with his composure under fire.

I'm very impressed with how he along with the whole team made 2nd half adjustments. We never would have seen that under Gase. The Jets started somewhere like 7 rookies (Wilson, AVT, Moore, Carter II, Sherwood, Echols, and Nasirildeen). This season is all about growth, but they can't let Wilson be hit that many times. Needs to be tightened up ASAP.

They looked like two different teams from first half to second. With 7 rookie starters and a rookie head coach and o coordinator it shouldn't be that surprising. You're a fool of you didn't think there was going to be growing pains. They won the second half and almost pulled off the comeback. This will be a team that gets better every weak

Totally agree. We looked so much better in the second half. Watching Wilson play that good in his first game while getting smoked 6 times was also very promising. Super young group. Was nice to see the staff make real adjustments at Half, something the last two staffs had a ton of trouble with. This week should be fun and competitive too with Pats and Mac Jones. Can’t wait. Keep improving is key.

Man, the blocking on the o-line was absolutely non-existent, Wilson had no time to take a breath in the pocket. Receivers couldn't catch for him either. There was a few times where Wilson throws an absolute dime and it ends up not being completed. It's almost like the Jets are still playing at a preseason level and the Panthers were playing in circles around them. Way too fast for the Jets to keep up with.

@@fernandomejia100 Facts, it was just a mess. Anyone who was on the field to catch the ball from Wilson didn't do that job. The tight ends and Corey are the only ones who REALLY showed up on that but they even had key drops in the game too. I hope these guys will start showing up sooner than later. Not only the receivers but especially the O-Line. I have faith in the staff the Jets have though, they actually take accountability and look at things realistically and detailed rather than an Adam Gase being like, "we just have to execute better."

If I'm Joe D I'm checking on every available avenue to improve this O-line right now. If I'm Coach Saleh I'm telling my RB's that whoever can pick up a blitz is starting and if I'm Matt Lafleur I'm scheming easy passes and putting two backs next to Zach all game. Zach's legit, protection should be the top priority for everyone right now. Otherwise he's going to get hurt or mentally broken if he has to endure a whole season of this.

This was just really tough to watch, Zach Wilson was getting hit every other play, huge Elijah Moore drop on what was a beautiful throw, a questionable 4th and 1 call plus terrible execution, those two plays lost the jets that game. The Derrick brown hit was painful to watch I can’t believe Wilson got up after that.

I'm a Jets fan for over four decades four damn decades. I'm not old enough to have seen 1969 so I've never seen the Jets in the Super bowl. The closest they've come to a Super bowl was 1998 that was the best team I have seen in my time. They went to the championship game twice with Mark Sanchez too bad Mark Sanchez wasn't even 60% of what he was supposed to be because if he was with that defense they may have won a Super bowl. I even remember the 1981 AFC championship game they lost 14 to nothing to the Dolphins. Anyway I just wanted to comment I don't know how anybody really comments on Zach Wilson's game last week. I understand why everybody is trying to say how great a game he played or second half he played it's because they so badly want him to be the savior. Problem is, I found this out a long time ago, you can't wish a Jets drafted quarterback into being the next Joe Namath and think it's going to happen. Yes he made a couple of good throws in the second half he moved around well. We did not see close to enough to be pronouncing him our "franchise" QB when the Jets have not had one of those since Joe N. The first half he was running for his life getting killed. They better fix that offensive line Forget Wilson being a franchise quarterback they're going to get him mauled back there and he's going to suffer a season-ending, career ending injury.

The O line has to be better though I'm glad they improved in the second half but there were a few times with Zack Wilson held the ball too long when he could have passed it for short yardage and it led to an incompletion or a sack. Other than that he looks nice can't wait for Cole and Crowder to return

First time I watched this, two things jumped-out at me: Lots of dropped passes. He was under a lot of pressure. Second time: He had a LOT of VERY inaccurate passes, while he was scrambling or protection was holding up. If he can't fix that, he'll be a back-up in a few years.

They need to build a better o line and desperately need a better run game.they want to run that niner influenced offense they need to get the ring game going then tho pa boots will be more lethal and will open up the drop back passes. I can see the jets doing very well in the future if they help zach.
