This is my favorite video of yours. The loop videos pushed me back to my loop pedal, and got me a better start this time. But this, the way you explained how to break down the song. Bravo! I have always thought of playing songs like this, and could hear them in my head, but I didn't have the knowledge to break it down. This video has opened that door. Thank you!

Sang this song years ago in a 100pc Rock Choir - very cool. Never dreamed of playing it as a solo guitar vocal but now I am. Thanks Frank. You da man!

Thanks for another great video Frank. You are certainly encouraging me to grow in many different facets of being a solo musician. I think its easy for us to get in ruts and just barrel through playing shows from week to week without really growing. These videos are just what I need to keep moving forward.

Another great lesson, Frank (subbed). I haven't tried it yet but I'm planning an extra layer using a percussion loop first so it keeps going through the other sections. Cheers

Great video mate. Lots of great advice and tips which translates to many other songs. Especially where parts can be separated and built upon (intro’s etc.) Even though as musicians we know the songs inside out and we wanna play all the parts 😂 The punters just want the key elements of a song! Be smart with your arrangements. P.s for foot percussionists… same deal. Just grab the most important parts of the song.. accent the right way and whalla… Cheers

Nice harmonics in there Frank. I started learning this song a lot of years ago, but never finished it. However, I do a little short version that sounds pretty cool. After seeing your "Short", I went down by "The River" and recorded it, but I was in the shadows and it came out too dark. I'll take an early walk w/ my dog "Jo-Jo" and try again today,. I think you would like it...stay tuned. 🙂 5 STARS! --Van

Great practical lesson Frank. It's so funny, I have a big fancy Boss RC50 3 channel LoopStation that looks like something from Star Trek, so it just sits on the shelf, instead been using a tiny one-button AAmoon loop pedal because it's so much more fun to just plug in and go in seconds. Keep up the great work

Frank, been following your videos here recently and they are very well done . You have a very positive affect. Noticed in one of your gigging videos that you were using a tablet mounted on the boom section of your mic stand. Could you share with me what holder for your tablet you are using that will achieve that? Thank you.
