English samsaarikkaan kittunna chances use cheyyuka. Anganeyulla conversations-il use cheyyaan pattunna natural aaya phrases parichayappeduthaan aanu inganeyulla videos cheyyunnathu. 😊

Dear Mam, This query is related to your lesson No;120 (Reported speech ). Is it always necessary to change the verb in the reported speech. If the situation is still the same, we DO NOT need to change the verb to the PAST TENSE, am I right Mam .? for Example Direct : Paul Said " My new job is boring" Reported " Paul said that his new job IS boring ( Here the situation is still the same. His job is still boring now) Mam, is the above reported speech right ? Please comment.

Good question! You are absolutely right; when referring to something which is still true / habitual action / universal truth, there is no need to change the tense. E.g. She said, "The sun RISES in the east". She said that the sun RISES in the east.
