I appreciate Nutsa's sentiment about the victim mentality rampant in these movies. "OMG MEN BAD WOMEN ARE OPPRESSED CATCALLS AND INCOMPETENT WHITE MEN RISE UP AND SMASH THE PATRIARCHY". I knew I was sick of it, all but the most dedicated left-leaning men were sick of it, it's nice to hear that women- the people all this noise is supposed to pander to- are getting sick of it, too.

Here's a general pitch for a lawyer comedy show. "If you or a loved one was injured in the Battle of New York or affected by Ultron, you may be entitled to compensation." Shulkie can start off one of the lawyers suing Stark Industries for whatever Personal Injury happened that week, get injured in a car crash, get Banner's blood, and then decides to defend superheroes from PI suits. She then sets up a small insurance company specifically to handle superhero cases. Like early seasons of Better Call Saul back when he was practicing Elder cases in the Sandpiper case. The middle-aged ladies writing this show don't even watch daytime commercials.

She wasn't in a car crash in the comics. She was shot by mobsters because they actually tied her origin into her being a lawyer. The entire scene of Jen's first transformation is conveyed in an oddly choppy way. The spaceship just disappears as soon as it's served it's purpose and only gets a passing acknowledgement later. Jen blacks out twice, conveniently giving the show an excuse to not show us how she gets from place to place, or where she is at any point. She asks to borrow a phone, but we never receive confirmation that she successfully got a hold of Bruce. We are never told where or how Bruce was during all this. Those helpful ladies disapear in the next scene. When Bruce does show up, it's so fast and sudden that some viewers miss it. Then Jen wakes up in another country, with no explanation as to how Bruce got her there or how long it took. And what's worse, I'm not sure why most of those scenes even needed to be in the show.

I was thinking on the rock throwing scene, and what annoys me is that it could easily have become a really interesting scene. If after Hulk threw the second rock, you could have had She-Hulk call him out wondering if that rock was going to hit somewhere on earth. Hulk could reply that no, he threw it into space. She-Hulk could then mock him about being a 'little insecure there buddy?' or something, but Hulk could seriously reply that it was on purpose. He meant it to demonstrate something. That the power that She-Hulk now had was not something to be taken lightly. That the difference between lightly holding something and crushing to to dust was so comparatively small that it was like a normal person trying to hold their thumb and forefinger as close together as possible without them touching. Her training should then have been more about teaching her how to specifically hold back so she could walk around without destroying things. He could even tell her that if she ever got into a fight with someone, unless she intended to kill them, she should always go way under in how hard she hit people, because the difference between a light tap and putting her fist through their face was so tiny. That might even help out fights later into making a bit more sense.

Yeah but then the writing team would have had to use their brain for more than 5 seconds and they would have had to concede that Bruce (a man) made a good point. So you'd probably be better of winning lotto then this actually happening. Though I really like that idea, could have been a great scene if they had done it that way.

She-hulk is made for late 30’s single women who have “Live, Laugh, Wine” and “Life is between coffee and wine” decor above their 4 cat bowls in their small apartment and can’t build a stable relationship because their only personality is being overbearing and insufferable. They get no fulfillment outside work so they delude themselves into believing they’re the only competent person at their dead end “career”. They want to drag men down because they can’t get one, and hate happy women as it shows their own failures. Misery loves company. What a pitiful existence.

The creation of she hulk was so much more impactful in the comics, Bruce was still hunted like an animal and when his cousin was hurt he had to make the choice between protecting himself and letting her die, or trying to save her life but putting himself and everyone else at risk since if he lost control at any point he'd kill her and everyone else in his wake. Like that was a scary choice for him to make, since neither one was a safe option, she could have died either way. And if he did save her life he could be making her a rage monster that would kill everyone anyway and become like him. Neither option was good, not a single person would thank him for either one... instead we got this.

My theory is the superhooker fight is so chopped up and disjointed because the Korean sweatshop animation factory couldn't replace the CGI in those scenes in time, so they just cut around to the scenes they had them fix out of order (such as the "Jen Walter's attorney at law" shot that was in the trailers) Also unfortunately I think the weird Kung-Pow choreography is them attempting to capture the "zany energy" of comic book fights (they probably think it's the equivalent to Adam West batman having "POW"s "BAM"s and "ZAMN"s whenever a hit lands)

My exact words were: "I will only watch She-Hulk if they have something along the lines of Tim Roth's character saying, 'Long time, Banner. Last I saw you, you looked more like Edward Norton.'" Well, guess what; in episode 2, Banner tells She-Hulk that his fight with Abomination was, "So long ago, I was a completely different person; literally." Now what do I do? Between this an semi-jokingly predicting that the most inconsistent character in episode 9 will be The Force, I don't know if I should make joke-predictions more often, or stop making them entirely.

As a guy, the idea of strangers exclaiming they find you hot, rude as they might be when doing it, is completely foreign to me. The idea you would be so upset about it, outside of obvious exceptions like being alone at night, or it being very repetitive, that you’d bring it up like she hulk does to a guy who desperately wanted to kill himself? Bewildering. Ladies, imagine being average or even mildly above average looking, and not once having any strangers ever say anything about it to you in public. Unless you’re exceptionally attractive, maybe. Like I said, I could see it getting old if it came from the same person or group of people, or being scary if you’re alone and they’re walking up on you, but otherwise, I’d be happy to be complimented by people at all. And the reaction of some women online being “preach sister!” Is just funny in context of what her gripes are compared to, the suffering of Banner. You know, ladies, you could always try catcalling guys, see how it goes. Record it, it’d be a great social experiment.

Ultron didn't wear a mask. Doesn't Bruce basically just have Ultron's severed head on display?!

I love how Disney decided to make She Hulk a show because they think she's superfluous

*People keep saying* “Just wait until Daredevil’s depiction before you judge” but *HOW CAN YOU NOT JUDGE* ? The writers don’t give af about Hulk, Abomination or Cap so why do you think they’ll go “in all seriousness let’s do Daredevil seriously”

AN hour in, I just watched the first episode. It was so horrible. All those feminist power fantasy lines "because I am better than you?" "calling yourself smart is very smug" "I can control my anger better than you becasue I get cat called or called emotional." I was eating dinner during pretty much listening to it and I almost threw up.

Meme and especially Fringy not immediately piping up about boxed or cask wine (a South Australian invention) hurts me deeply.

In Avengers 1. Hulk was not a child, he was like a Marvel's version of Mr. Hyde, Average 2 maybe the start and T.R. he was a kid

The naming of "mansplaining" is entirely sexist. 1. Men act this way towards men. 2. Women act this way towards men. 3. Women do it to women. 4. YOU have done this to other people. In a lot of cases you need to have simple stuff explained to you, or you perhaps gave of the vibe that you do. And even if you really don't, there are tons of other people who have needed it before, which explains why some people would do this to you. The world isn't perfect, some people are thick in the head and need seemingly obvious shit explained to them.

3:06:42 The story is Marvel Comics heard a rumor that the Hulk TV show was going to do an episode with a female Hulk, so they quickly threw together and created She-Hulk so the TV studio couldn't copywrite the idea. And that's how She Hulk came to be. And it was STILL better written than this.

I was glad they finally gave hollands spiderman his proper origin. Thats what was always missing for me, with his iteration. Iron man is no uncle ben.
