800 days means rot on the lot. Hope they get the message that we are tired of getting fleeced for overpriced junk. Dealerships are crazy if they really think the average customer will comeback after getting burned. I personally refuse to buy anything that won’t last the life of the loan.

72 months at 22.95% at $591 for a $23,000 car... That's $42,552.. or double the price of the car.. half your payment is interest... Good god.... Agree with getting pre-approved.. We got our Kia, had the pre-approval in hand and the dealer actually found us a smaller APR at the local credit union (under 4 percent at the time). Again, get pre-approved if you can.

why pay $75k or more for an inferior vehicle made by the UAW? They have proven to be a major problem with 100's of thousands of recalls. Much more economical to buy an older vehicle and fix it up. My neighbor bought a 1990's Ford P/U, dropped about $7k into it and it looks and runs great.

When I first bought my commuter car as a new grad this summer of 2024, the credit union gave me 13% APR. I thought it was because I don't have a credit history (always pay with debit). Now you make me realize 13% is actually in the ballpark of national average since I just check around for fun yesterday, and some finance guys still quote me 10% despite having good credit score now and a stable job.
