I know I am in the minority of movie viewers, but honestly I believe both Blake and Ryan are mediocre performers at best. With this said, I honestly don't get all the hype. Ryan without CGI/Green screen enhancements and graphics is just ok. He is a good businessman. He is a good promoter and self promoter. I believe what the public is being shown is who they are as individuals--their true personalities. And as often happens with those who have moderate skills and talents, the need to be controlling and inserting themselves into the spotlight at the expence of others. JMHO

I grew up in an abusive household and will not be watching the movie due to triggers. Luckily, I knew of Colleen Hoover via booktok, so despite the deceptive PR, I knew what It Ends With Us was about. The flash of Ryle throwing the chair really got to me from the trailer alone. With all that being said, I still feel the MOST disgusted and upset when I recount her rude interview with Kjersti Flaa. It was genuinely skin crawling to sit through watching her knowingly being flippant and vapid bc of her self righteous ego. Everything else that has come up from her exposé is pretty bad, but that interview just sits extremely unwell with me.

Online the movie is literally labeled as an American Romantic Drama. Like what?!!!!! I've heard that Colleen is also clueless because wasn't she the one who was came out with a coloring book and a nail polish line for the book? Also, Baldoni was never going to play the lead, he was first and foremost the director and executive producer (Blake was the producer), Colleen legit asked him to play the lead. Also, Blake was the one who coordinated that kissing scene, she had complete control, and it's stupid that she's b*ing about the kiss lingering too long....ok. Justin already said that Blake can direct the next movie (if there is one).
