Everyone's Invited to Firelink Shrine - Dark Souls Remastered

This was not as fun a party as the host had anticipated.
If you'd like to host your own Firelink get-together, this video ( • How to Invite Everyone... ) explains how to gather all these NPCs. It's surprisingly easy to mess up.
I got this idea from a similar video I watched years ago. My memory's a little hazy but I think it was the one I've linked below. Thanks ‪@krazy999‬ for the inspiration!

Love the idea of a dark souls family Christmas comedy where the chosen undead is tasked with getting everybody together for the holidays even though they hate each other’s guts. This means he has to go about it by giving them something to bond over in light of their political and social differences that always cause arguments are the dinner table. He decides to make them all despise him to the point of murder so they’ll rally around something and forget the petty differences of Christmas past

This is a hilarious idea. I totally want to see Patches sheepishly sitting next to Vince and Nico at the dinner table, praying they won't bring up the whole "kicking them into the pit" thing, while Griggs constantly pesters Logan, who pretends he can't hear him because of his big hat.

Looney Tunes was definitely an inspiration, I always liked those caption gags. I would have liked to get all the NPCs together and friendly but most of them don't stay in Firelink unless you aggro them.

@@pinballcat Yeah, I can see how it would be a problem to keep them all there and friendly. But now wondering if Requesting Absolution while they were all aggro and then coming back would result in them all staying and being friendly (until you activated a scene change of course). I might try that sometime.

Unfortunately if you trigger the event that would make an NPC leave but they're hanging around because of aggro, they will leave if you request absolution. At least I tried it with Rhea's party and they left, so I assume the other NPCs will as well.

Domhnall gets angry if you insult his trinket collection.. or smack him a couple times with a sword, that works too. The truly difficult part is getting him into Firelink without him falling off a bridge. I may post another video showing how to get him over there.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to have Siegmeyer and Sieglinde together in Firelink. According to wiki's, the crystal golem trapping Sieglinde won't spawn in the Duke's Archives until after you rescue Siegmeyer in Blighttown... and he doesn't reach Blighttown until after appearing in (and leaving) Firelink. I did think about counting Anastacia but I dunno, her being trapped and caged doesn't feel like she's really part of the festivities, poor girl.

Most of these NPCs won't stay in Firelink unless you aggro them. If you do, they'll stick around until killed.

I made this video on a PS4, no cheats or anything are necessary. You need to bring each NPC to Firelink by progressing their quest lines, then attack them so they won't leave. But don't aggro them too early because it might prevent others from showing up. Would any of you like to see a video explaining how to do it? Upvote this post if so.
