IMO Accuracy is undervalued by Baalor quite consistently "nah we don't need more damage....(accuracy) ok let me take th bonk (predator over back flip) Then enthusiastically take terror, despite doing more or less as much as accuracy. Accuracy is something like 8 damage / turn in the deck early on, upgradable, scale with terror. It really is a lot of damage. More than nearly all other "damage favourite" like a 6 skills upgraded barrage (30) vs an upgraded blade dance (32) (sure that's on preparation work but it works on all shiv cards and in the above run this is going to be a lot).

Flachettes* not Barrage, but I agree. I think Blade Dance over Terror makes sense early on in this defk, but it really makes the Heart fight miserable. Terror on the Heart though is almost necessary in some decks. 1 accuracy is fine even in a Wrist Blade deck as well, but it is important to make sure you have block before you go even more damage. Not even upfront damage as well. Another thing that is really important is being able to cut through artifact in other ways than Terror, since it's basically a brick draw if you can't. Rarity also matters though, so you're more than likely going to see another Blade Dance over Terror, and you may not get another chance. Vuln is not common to get for Silent, and kinda takes priority if you're thinking about scaling instead.

Dead Branch is one of those things in StS that I hope is removed or reworked in StS2. It completely hijacks runs that would ordinarily be unique, and turns them into Dead Branch runs. It's fun after about 10 times or so, but now it's a relic that I actively avoid because the deck often completely loses its identity. Watcher can make it interesting with Master Reality, but Watcher is unique due to having a very binary playstyle anyway; it could use the randomness

Huge brain on this man, been climbing ascensions since i started watching. Hoping to get my first heart kill with ironclad this weekend. Anyone with any suggestions on must takes with the intention of beating act four with ironclad?

I would say potions. Try to bring at least one good potion into act 4. Pots that draw extra cards like swift pot or gambler's brew can counter the spire spear's burns and act as a safeguard against bad draw orders. Scaling pots like power or duplication will add the extra kick you might need in this act. As far as cards are concerned, what has worked for me is either fiend fire/second wind to erase most of the deck, then try to set up an infinite or some kind of corruption synergy (1-2 feel no pains almost mandatory for this) or immense strength scaling, like duplication pot -> demon form or having brimstone along with shockwave+ and a couple of disarms. There is certainly more than that, but so far I have only beaten high ascension heart (A18-20) a handful of times and the above seem to consistently work without requiring immense amounts of experience. Hope this helps.

PS: Forgot to mention artifact charges from the potion or from clockwork souvenir. Really helps surviving the heart's first cycle, if you aren't vulnerable.

I just barely had a run with everything but wrist blade, but the shop owner sold me an Accuracy. Then immediately (!) restocked another Accuracy. So I bought two and barely made it to the end killing the heart (my first fight with the heart)! Edit: I also got the tungsten rod in one of the very last rooms of act 3-- I did not realize how much this mattered until the final battle 😂
