Hachiman is the best main character, period. Komachi is the best sister ever, sorry Nezuko. I'm so happy I only recently discovered this anime and didn't wait 5 years for the next season to arrive because I was immediately hooked after season 1. I finished this anime literally yesterday. I have seen a lot of animes in my lifetime and hands down this series has become one of my favorite animes of all time. It's at least in my top 20 of favorite animes of all time. I thought it was so well done and I completely related with these characters. It's a masterpiece in my opinion.

I just finished this show and it managed to connect with me more than any other media I've ever encountered, especially the first season. The person that wrote this show understands how self isolation works to an insane degree, and as a person who's been through exactly that it affected me a lot. Between Hachiman and Yukino it covered basically all of the excuses I've personally used to justify my own isolation, that I don't need other people because they're inferior, that relationships are pointless and only bring pain. I really loved that arc with the little girl because it showed that you really can't help someone in that position since it's largely self inflicted and preserved. It really was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Also team Yuigahama all the way, SHE DIDN'T DESERVE THAT

I get what you mean about the putting yourself out there. Being with people, especially those I don’t know so well, is often very hard and tiring for me and there have been multiple occasions where I’m trying to decide whether an invitation/event is worth the emotional toll, yet some of the best memories I have in my life are the times where I just said “Screw it, I’m going to do it!” And made an effort to attend and have fun. It also got a lot easier as I grew older though, I also used to be very lonely and kind of ostracized but I now have some really great friends because of the times where I abandoned my anxiety and fear and did the thing Edit: Also good job on saving the RL doggy :)

its nice to see that someone else can see the animes little details like that i personal rewatched this anime around 5 since it came out but at first I though it was just me seeing what I wanted after I ran out of honestly enjoyable anime I personal love how relaxing I feel watching it and how it makes 30 minutes feel like a hour because with the little details and dialogue its feels like there is a lot more going on than it is I love how the anime is one of the few that don't fall in the trap of stuff has to go down quick to keep ratings up but instead moves at its own pace I just hope you'll do the other two seasons
