These break jingles and pictures for each character are amazing. Vivi Robin Sanji Nami Zoro Chopper Ussop Luffy Vivi because of Alabasta ones. But Those jingles especially were so stuck in my head that at one point I had specific words to each jingle so everytime they played I said the words inside my head or out loud. Then they finally had a Robin one pop up and that more than anything else made me feel she was one with the crew. Also relook at the items in Robins picture... is it just me or was there weirdly a sax in it despite us never seeing her play so far? I do not really get it other than her jingle.

I don’t know how to phrase this without it sounding insensitive, but please be aware that I truly mean this in the best way possible. You probably lost support on the Patreon because you announced that the series might be leaving KZbin. In all honesty, I wouldn’t doubt that a sizable part of your subscribers are here just for One Piece. If the series leaves the channel, so does those subscribers

@@roguewave4396 People probably only hear the "Leaving" part then react... I believe that was your point and I agree that could be part of it. I have found in my own experience that people tend to hear the bad part clearer than the message itself of help wanted. To partially rephrase a line from an anime... People would rather see gratitudes than my sorry.. But honestly I am not sure how to communicate need correctly myself so I get the struggle.

I think it's funny that they never actually provide a reason for why Lucci even needed to talk through his bird, presumably he just did that for fun

The meta reason I think is that this way we as the audience can’t draw the connection between Luccis voice and the voice of the mysterious shadowy agent we saw earlier.

Honesty the CP9 twist is so well done. Something I find great is that it’s not ALL of the shipwrights who are the group. It makes Paulie such a good edition as he clearly cared a lot about them

And here we are, what a twist CP9 was - Oda swiftly 180s you on characters you like and characters you don't; Lucci and Kaku seemed like they could be shipwright candidates, Kalifa was dutiful to Iceberg, and we hated Franky for all the stuff he did to Usopp, but now it's the other way around! And it all traces back to the thing Crocodile was allying with Robin after: Pluton - the ancient weapon. Great long term storytelling. it's also one of the first times Robin calls him 'Luffy' and not 'Mr. Captain'

I really appreciate what you do. No spoilers, but one of the wins in this video, a seemingly small observation, foreshadows a recent reveal in the manga that hasn't been animated yet almost 900 episodes later. Really goes to show how far Oda planned ahead.

I love CP9! Water 7 is one of the best! I have a theory about the 6 powers and how they relate to other things we’ve had hinted at or shown them under different names. I’ll wait till after we get more of an explanation to lay it out here though. But seriously Water 7 is a glorious showing of writting, set up, payoff and twists.

so funny wordplay relating to franky that I learned about from watching this one guy and his mom go through the manga the word hentai refers to perverts right, it also can translate to convert or metamorphosis like the word henshin (obviously shows like kamen rider use the latter for obvious reasons) but it can also mean strange soldier I believe, if I'm remembering that video correctly

17:03 There just something I love so much about the transition from one win to the next here. It's obviously always fun to hear the genuine excitement and shock in his voice when something big and unexpected happens like this, but I couldn't help but also laugh a little at how the "WHAT?!" is *immediately* followed up by Robin's eyecatcher. Feels like some comedic timing to me. Like, "big, shocking turn of events! What's going on now?! ... We'll be back after this commercial break."
