Finally! Something that isn't fat or deep fried! It was very nice to have an episode that I didn't have to pick and choose the contents of the food. I've been watching for years and this was very refreshing! I could literally just take any of the dishes and make them without feeling guilty or worrying. Thanks!

I know it’s been said here already but please do more of these quick healthy meals and snacks. I’ve been watching STCG videos for years and still have some of the old ones saved from when he was in his kitchen and doing the podcast because they were much more basic, healthy, and are my go-to weekday meals (plus I always love seeing Sam fumbling around in the kitchen and telling max to get out of the way). I still enjoy the recent content for entertainment and have made some of them but these are the kind I’ll bookmark and come back to.

I struggle with finding healthy day to day recipes to eat. I'm such a foodie, which is why I love your shows. Please please please do more of these types of video. I love that you were explaining the parsley/cilantro bit. I’m like you and believe everything needs a little green. I never run out of fresh parsley, cilantro and green onions. Even though I live near Seattle, I grow an amazing herb garden every year. My rosemary and thyme are evergreen, but my sage and mint are already springing up. I am super excited for my “greens” mentioned above! Thanks for another amazing video! We love you and the boys!❤

Thanks for sharing! Calories counting is archaic. Just keep your carb intake in line with your exertion level. If you carry a little around midsection, avoid sugar and HFCS. Unless we're out chopping wood all day, we can't burn enough calories to dio into our fat reserves You seem to eat just fine. Just sharing this for subs. Don't avoid fun foods, just cut back when you're carrying a few extra pounds. And remember: fat isn't what makes us fat. High insulin + excess calories makes us fat. And we NEED healthy fats. Fat-free is the worst thing that ever happened to us.

Sam, I'm James a disabled veteran, and I watch your cooking show all the time. The first episode I saw was about the Italian Salad Sandwich. It looked so good on TV, I thought I'd try it and bravo. It's excellent. So, working off of the salad ideal, I've tried a cobb salad sandwich, a Santa Fa salad sandwich, and one of my salad sandwich chooses. Love your show! I was setting here thinking your should try making a Dagwood sandwich with your twist.!? And then a Italian meatloaf hamburger. Made from Italian sausage and grown beef .3 Italian cheeses. Lets of garlic and onion and marinara sauce. Garlic and permasen cheese to top it off.

This is pretty good in terms of nutrients, just not calories. I caution everyone to be careful with oils and fats if trying to eat low calorie. Oils often get overlooked when accounting for calorie intake and can make up a substantial amount of calories very quickly. One TBSP of olive oil is 120 calories! A lot of these recipes use tons of oil and fats; that is what gives the flavor but also calories! Substitute salmon for white fish, use less oil and you should be good to go.

The chilli crunch oil you poured on the breakfast is soybean oil. It’s one of the worst toxic refined oils out there. It’s just as bad as canola or sunflower (if not worse).
