Do you really think that animals are treated better when humans are not being bred for slaughter? Are we forcibly impregnating human women? Are we keeping humans in pens of their own feces waiting to be killed so we can then eat them? Are you absolutely deranged?” Now… I may not have said that on television. But maybe I would have!

@Il Cavalluccio Marino B12 is a bacteria that is naturally found in soil, but with commercial farming and the heavy, routine use of pesticides and others of the sort, any and all b12 in the soil is killed. Cows and other grass-feeding animals that are bred to be killed can get b12 from grazing since it is found in the soil they are ingesting. (But as mentioned above, heavy pesticides kill the b12 in soil.) In farming, the majority of animals are fed soy or corn food pellets in dark, crowded, enclosed spaces with cement floors and no grass to be found. We used to get it the same way as we walked around barefoot picking up fruits and veggies from the ground, absorbing it through our skin and not washing what we ate so we could get it that way as well. The B-12 myth has been busted . Stop thinking that animals products are the only source.

I pointed out that would be impossible - just send a photo of the animals, if they had such a great existence. Never heard another word from him. We all knew that meat came from animals who were killed, but actually witnessing it and learning how so many aspects of the industry are not public knowledge and actually very hidden away, was pretty mind blowing. And until recently, one would have to dig pretty deep to find out this much out in such graphic detail. The activists risking their freedoms for potential jail time/heavy fines, to get all the footage from the last few years is admirable. I do street outreach with clips from this very documentary and I see the power it has on people, the emotion is real out there, people just need to see the truth to make a more informed decision about their lifestyle choices. Humans are animals too don't forget. And a lot of animal brains on here unfortunately do not understand how they are duped by this crazy NWO push toward veganism. I used to be a hardcore "vegetarian" myself. It's almost impossible to avoid meat, and for a good reason. If you have to take artificial supplements for B12 and D3 for example that should tell you right there you are not eating your natural diet. The animals do not need to suffer needlessly, and nobody is saying that. If you were being chased by a theoretical raptor who just wanted to eat you to survive, that might change your perspective a bit as to the harsh nature of reality that as a being of gross physical matter you are always having to consume something else to survive. Do you think plants like to be eaten too? No they don't, that's why they lace themselves with tannins and other toxins so the animals don't destroy them. You are buying right into NWO agenda with all the talk of climate control and the poor animals. What about the humans animals, think of those too.

He is straight up lying about the practices but people like that genuinely do believe that what they are doing is right. I am a vet student so have to work with a lot of farmers and they do genuinely think they give the animals a good life and that we simply need meat. One farmer even told me they are doing the animals a favour because by slaughtering them when they are young, they prevent them having to deteriorate and suffer when they get ill from old age. This is of course complete rubbish because they literally kill the animals before puberty age when they would still have many happy years before them. What I'm trying to say is, these people in the industry have been brought up with that mindset and are very unlikely to change. We have to target the public and aim to reduce consumer demand for meat and animal products I think. Very sad being forced to work in that environment as a vet student but one day I hope to be a sanctuary vet and use my skills for the good of animals💖💖

It's surprising how much someone can lie to oneself if the truth would result in the realization that you are doing something that is wrong. Everyone wants to believe they are a good, moral person. I can imagine someone raised to be a farmer and doing it for years having a huge mental resistance to the idea that what he is doing could be wrong. Otherwise, the realization would be quite devastating. I think that is one of the main barriers of entry for veganism. People just don't want to think that they and the people they love and admire may be doing something cruel and unnecesary and have been happily doing so for years. I don't think people should beat themselves over it, just understand it and move on, preferably going on the road of becoming vegan or at least reduce consumption if they can't cut it fully. But it's just a very human reaction that we can expect to happen often.

It’s so infuriating how the host was so nonchalant about the farmers blatant lie. Ed: This is the method used for killing animals Host: How horrific! Farmer: Yes, that would be horrific but that’s not what happens. Host: Phew! I’m relieved now Ed: You’re lying though. Farmer: I would never lie. I disagree with you demonizing farmers and calling our humane harvesting methods horrific! It’s like the host doesn’t even remember what happened 30 seconds ago.

Agreed & I fully know Ed is a gift to us all on this earth. And... Rene Descartes hugely (and so wrongly) impressed the world with his 'I think therefore I am' . He also believed animals were like clocks, mechanical & dependent & unable to feel. His beliefs & practices are still taught in Universities all over... Being taught that humans are above or entitled or here to dominate (Biblical 'Dominion') is blindly accepted and thank goodness many are waking up to compassion. So I don't think Mr. Martin is 'lying'. He believes the bull just as the majority still do & he's caught in the capitalist trap of commodities & not seeing that animals are so very much like us. He may not even understand that humans are animals. Misinformation is everywhere & if a few 'get it' here, that's brilliant. Thank you Ed for opening eyes, educating so many & exposing the ignorance in our world. We are raised to follow not lead & more are finding the courage to think for themselves, and to 'feel' compassion for all beings. The earth was made for all beings not just humans. Einstein was in such the minority of his time & veganism is growing. Ed is decreasing that minority and one day the majority of humans will be vegan. Step by step. Each of us helping the most vulnerable.

I’m a human secular but everytime I hear atheist declare Descartes as a great genius, I remember reading what you said @mare ,that animals were mere robots,he took his wife’s pet dog and to prove his point, tied her up and dissected her alive, while she screamed, the wife left him after this

Wow interesting idea. I think if we really wanted the meat industry to stay, I'd want governments to issue a "meat eating license" but in order to apply for it, one must first go through whatever the animal they were going to eat go through, even if only a fraction of the experience. I'm sure only psychopaths would want to pass getting that license just to eat meat.
