What I eat in a day as a busy husband and dad.
I usually go over on my calories by about 500-750 every Saturday, Sunday and sometimes Friday. That is why I keep it at about 1500-1800 calories Monday-Thursday.
I take my calorie goal for the day and spread them out over 7 days, which gives me a lot more flexibility in my diet as a whole.

its 4 scoops of protein powder. Week days its tough to keep calories low with "real" food. Weekends I usually dont hit the protein powder as hard lol

A good quality whey protein powder is “real food” and is a great way to make sure you’re hitting your protein goals.

I think id crumble to dust on that kind of diet lol but ive never tried protein powder maybe its not that bad

4 days a week I am a little hungry haha. But over 6 years of doing this I’ve been able to slowly gain muscle and stay at about 12 percent body fat. I’m just sticking with what works. Not for everyone that’s for sure.

I dont count my calories too much anymore. But if I had to guess it would have been 1200-1300. I talked about it another video. But 3-4 days a week a try to stay below 1500. Then on Friday-Sunday I probably around 3000. So I do my best to average my calories out through the week that way I can splurge a few days.

You take a preworkout when exactly before a 5AM lift when it's sunny out? Sun rises at about 6AM. Caffeine is best consumed 60-90 minutes after waking, and 15-30 minutes before a lift.

Alarm 4:40. Pre workout, 4:45, in the garage by 5. Yes, sun is rising here in the PNW by 5 (on a sunny day). I usually shoot my intro at the end of my workout (6am-ish) since I don’t feel like talking to the camera in the first 30 mins of waking up. Yeah, in a perfect world I would wait longer. But I’m personally not getting up at 3:30am for the “perfect” consumption of pow.

@ColtonSharman pow? Using acronyms no one knows doesn't make you look cool, it makes you look like an asshole. Guaranteed you crash hard in the afternoon taking that much xaffeine right after waking up. There are alot of changes you could make to optimize your routine.
