I’m amazed how many gorgeous and bold items you made! I’m on year 3 and still mostly socks. I made two sweater my first year but didn’t know enough about yarn and d made horrible choices. Made a blanket project last year but I’m so intimidated by sweaters now… lol. Great stuff!!!

What amazing work, especially for a beginner! You have really built so many skills last year. I am only just starting to knit garments now after being a knitter for years. Thank you for the inspiration 😊 My favourite knit of 2024 was the Twelve Birds Shawl by Helen Stewart/Curious Handmade x

You've been so prolific for your first full year! Have you tried adding vinegar to the warm blocking water when you notice the dye washing out? Sometimes yarn needs just a little more acid to get the dye to bind. Not terribly useful if it's all washed out already, though. 🤔

Lol I have done the same first thing I have ever knit was/is socks. I really want to knit a jumper but it seems scary they are big and reading the pattern they seem complicated lots of shaping podcasting bits off working with 2balls of wool around a v neck 😣 Socks are easy!
