Can you change the order of the apps on google watch? That was my biggest issue with the original pixel watch. I wanted certain apps at the top but instead they would be located in the middle or the bottom..

I'm intrigued by the smaller P9P, as well as the PBP2. I was able to get a quick hands on of the new phones at my local Best Buy today -- _impressive_ screens, even on the regular P9.

I want to switch from iphone 13 to pixel 9 pro, not sure what size to get? Regular pro or XL? Also, can you guys tell me if google pixel has camera shutter lag? Initially I wanted to buy samsung but omg, I tested it and every moving person was blurry in the photo taken, even my Iphone does better job.

I would go with Regular pro as it is similar size to the iPhone 13. From what I saw there was no camera shutter lag.

Are the watch bands unique only to the 45 mm size or are they compatible with the 41 mm size? And compatible backed pixel 2

So it looks like the bands are specific to the watch size. So only 41mm bands will fit the 41mm watch and that size will also work on the Watch 2.

Why do all these folds need to be turned 90 degrees when watching things? Seems like no one is watching anything on the inside screen with the hinge being vertical, but rather horizonal.

You reminded me that I forgot to include a video of me watching a video. The ratio now makes it so it doesn't matter what way you watch a video on the main screen. A benefit of turning it horizontal is that you can bend it to a laptop shape and have the video on the top and comments on the bottom all while it is its own kickstand.

How “creamy” or beige is the “porcelain”? Can’t decide between this and obsidian. The old “snow” was great

In most of the lighting they looked more white than beige. The Pro 9 Fold was the most beige of them all. I went with Obsidian before on the fold but I think the Porcelain is the right choice this time.

@@TechWithBrett (I had noticed from the pics that the Fold was more beige than the pros but thought was the pics).I always had white pixels (or Panda) until they launched the Porcelain which never seen in person but never liked it from the pics. Had gone with Obsidian for the 8 Pro. Never liked that device (not the colour) especially vs the 7 pro . Going for the Pros or the fold this time ?

The ability to stream camera feeds to the watch and the auto switching to conversation mode on the pixel buds sound like really cool features but I highly doubt any of this will work knowing Google, just like the reverse charging advertised on my 7 pro that doesn't work at all. I doubt that you will get a stable video stream to the watch and the delay to pull the stream will be horrendous, calling it now. Pixel buds have been a disaster and have had so many refreshes I have lost count now, I doubt the conversation detection will work at all.

The 45mm watch does NOT use the same bands as the PW1 and PW2. This is crazy to me. Maybe they determined that the watch looked big with the narrower bands? I'm happy about getting the larger watch, but I'm not looking forward to having to purchase additional bands.

Sorry I missed this. 41mm bands on Watch 2 and Watch 3 work with each other. The curve of the 45mm is much bigger so needs different band.

@@ypsingh199 I would think that also, except on my pixel 6 I'm being given a choice to either stay with assistant or switch to Gemini & it says something along the lines of "if you need help with abc, switch to Gemini. If you need help with XYZ, stay with assistant". I can hope for the best, but as it stands now it doesn't sound like all the features ported over.

@MAGA_Patriot2024 Yes, I noticed that. As of now, not all features are ported and that's the reason they are providing the options. I myself am using Google Assistant 😅 as I use Gemini on the web. But hopefully things are changing pretty fast on the Gemini side. Sooner or later, the time will come for us to switch.

I’m slowly getting out of the Apple ecosystem. My next thing is getting The Google Pixel Tablet. I canceled all my Apple Subscriptions. After I received my Google Pixel 8Pro I resumed my KZbin Premium membership. I also preordered the Google TV Streamer device. Over the years I’ve had a lot of trouble when my iPhones needed fixing. Their repair department kept sending them back to and an email saying they couldn’t find any issues. Also, Months ago I found that if someone tried to open a KZbin Premium account on Apple device, it would cost them $18.99+tax. That’s not cool. Using an Android or Windows PC it would only cost $13.99+tax. The batteries in Google products are awesome. I’m really enjoying my Google Pixel 8Pro.

Beautiful phones but overpriced with a mediocre processor. For the price, google is asking you are better getting a Samsung Galaxy 24 series or the iPhone 15 series, which are better options and more powerful. Even a Oneplus 12 series would be a better choice.

Powerful for what exactly? I own a 15 pro max and a pixel but day to day work the pixel is much smarter and runs cooler. Unless you are a hardcore gamer I just don't see why you would pick an iPhone because they're very boring devices imo.

@Conannnnn I had the Pixel 7 pro and tried the 8 pro and got rid of them. I had app crashes while using TikTok, youtube and while recording with the camera. Also the phone would get extremely hot quickly, the camera would process incorrectly the skin color, and the battery was terrible, not to mention the slow charging speeds. I currently have a iPhone 15 pro max and a Galaxy s23 ultra and don't have any of those issues. I'm a tech junkie that loves tech, and I'm never buying another Pixel phone ever. Hope this clarifies for you.

@@josesabat1710 interesting. I haven't had a pixel since the 4xl I think anything below the 8 isn't the best. Those are all software based the problems you are experiencing. Android 14 has had problems but I think it's improved on that. I'm trading my 15 pro max for the pixel 9 pro. I don't know why but my 15pro max has had overheating issues since day one especially charging. Also ive been on iphone since the iPhone x and never had these issues. Charging is a pain on the 15pro max as well very slow. Battery life is decent but I think ios is very boring. I really hope the 9 pro doesn't give me problems.

70% in 30 minutes charging is ancient in 2024. There's phones that charge 0-100% in Under 13 minutes with 50W Wireless charging that charges FASTER than this Google 9 Pro Xl and Fold, Wired. Please, don't ever say 70% charge in 30 minutes is " EXTREMELY FAST". We fully understand it's NOT!.
