I made a new website to track San Francisco Bike lane statistics: bikelanestats.org
In this video I look at masking numbers during the pandemic in Golden Gate Park, look at small electric vehicle growth and introduce a new statistic, passenger counts.

I love the video Andrew! Great format and I found the data really interesting. I'd be curious to see surveying results about how different Slow Streets compare to each other in terms of modeshare/utilization. Page would be an obvious one, but I'm not sure which others. Anyways, keep it up!

Thanks man. Would love to meet up again once this is sort of over. Yeah. The Slow Streets are such a gift. We went from The Richmond to Russian Hill yesterday and it was a dream.

Ha. Very true. I think I look 10 years younger in this video too. I can't imagine how misunderstood we'll feel telling our grandchildren about covid.

Pre pandemic ggp to panhandle to wiggle to market street was my commute route to downtown. I imagine the majority of people would take public transportation for that haul. But electric bikes have been a good alternative, at least for me, prompted by the often unreliable nature of sf public transit. I did rent an electric scooter for that route once and it ended up costing like $50, so not a great option.

When I visit the site today I get the error "Application error: An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details. You can do this from the Heroku CLI with the command heroku logs --tail"

You spent a lot of time on this video, props to that. Zero props to originality though. 2 Minutes in and I'm already checked out. You're relaying common info without real entertainment and unique content. Keep the energy going & the focus you possess - it works.

Hey Blake. Thanks at least for the partial watch! I'm a beginner at video. I suspect in good time the originality/entertainment level will improve. With that said, if you're not into bike lane stats (and there is a real possibility there are only a dozen of us that are), it may never quite be what you're looking for. Thanks though man
