What if a meteor the same sized as the one that wiped out the dinosaurs entered and hit the planet and struck the deepest spot in the ocean ? Would it make it all the way to the bottom ? How much water would be displaced ? How big would that tsunami be ? Would any of our water be lost into space ?

I’m not even an amateur astrophysicist, and i know this video was riddled with lazy inaccuracies. Yes, i understand that this is all conjectural. But you present the “What if?” aspect of the sun’s supernova as the skip in the timeline, not the postulated stellar death. In point of fact, our star would need 8x it’s mass to go supernova (periodic micronovae are a different matter!). It will ultimately enter a red giant stage, expanding out beyond Earth’s orbit and then collapse into a white dwarf.

Also, might not hurt to give Neil Stephenson credit for the shattered moon via rogue black hole concept as described in his novel “SevenEves”. I know his goatee is creeeeepy AF but he is an absolutely original scifi visionary.

If Titan, Saturn's largest moon, became Earth's moon, there would be significant changes. Titan is much larger than our Moon and has a thick atmosphere primarily composed of nitrogen and methane. This change would affect Earth in several ways: 1. Tidal forces: Titan's larger size compared to our Moon would likely alter Earth's tides, leading to different tidal patterns. These changes might affect coastal ecosystems and navigation. 2. Atmospheric composition: Titan's thick atmosphere is vastly different from Earth's. The presence of methane and other gases could influence Earth's atmospheric chemistry, potentially impacting weather patterns and climate. 3. Temperature and conditions: Titan's surface temperature is incredibly cold, around -290 degrees Fahrenheit (-179 degrees Celsius). If Titan were Earth's moon, its presence might affect Earth's overall temperature and climate, although the extent of this impact would depend on various factors. 4. Geological effects: Titan's gravitational pull might cause geological changes on Earth, potentially influencing volcanic activity, earthquakes, and tectonic movements. However, it's crucial to note that this scenario is purely hypothetical and the exact consequences would depend on numerous factors, including distance, gravitational interactions, and the overall dynamics of such a significant celestial change.

Hello sir What if. My name is Jacobs Ronald Blackwolf. 58 years. I have been a fan of "What If" for years and I am happy to see your face, which was not the case before. I am also happy with your offer to hear from other people an idea for a "What if", and yes, I would like to be one of these other people if that is allowed? Here are Three ideas I'd like to see in a new "What If": Alright, here we go: Idea one: Suppose that Thea would never have crashed into the Earth, which means that the moon would never have been created, but that instead, not our moon, but Thea would have become our moon. After the many meteor impacts on both Earth and Thea, you know, the very many meteors that brought water from space that could create life, would there have also been life on Earth, and possibly also on Thea, which is our moon? would be? Suppose that the moon, Thea, were to rotate on its axis just as the earth does, and just like our moon today, Thea on earth would also take care of the low and high tides and the seasons, I assume. And that life on Thea, what could it look like, and would this life also interact with the earth? And what would the residents of Thea call themselves? Would we still call Thea Thea, or just "The Moon"? Idea two: We now know that there are at least one or two planets around Saturn that are covered with a thick layer of ice, and that there is an ocean of water underneath all that ice, and that it is even very possible that there could be life there. could arise, if only this planet were closer to the sun to become warmer and more conducive to life. Well, then replace this Saturn moon, the one with the best chance of life, with our dead moon. Then the ice can melt, all the water becomes free and moves, with ebb and flow there too, possibly also with seasons if this moon were to rotate just like the Earth? Could this possibly also mean life? I'd like to see it. And while we're on the subject of the moon, I have a third idea... Idea three: Suppose our current moon would not revolve around the Earth as it does now, but instead, would rotate 90/degrees in the other direction, so not from left to right, in my case, possibly from right to the left in your case? But from back to front, or from front to back, choose in which direction, but with an angle difference of 90/degrees. What would high and low tides, and their influence on volcanic eruptions around the world, look like in this case? And what would the seasons be like in this case, and the animal and plant life and that of the people? Let's see what could happen with these three scenarios in a new: "What if". Do you like that, Mr. What if?

26:40 I remember that back in 2017, where i was... it was a small black dot that moved over the bottom 1/8th of the suns orra, not blocking the sun but the expansion of it's extended solar flair. might have actually been one of the inner planets orbiting the sun as it was very small, only seen using a mirrored polarized filter 3 or 4 times darker then normal sun glasses, like a welding glass UV lens. orbit seemed to be tilted "30 degrees downward from stationary ground sight" closer to 60 degrees down from the path the earth takes and had a visible range of 45 minuets so if it was an inner planet the orbit around the sun is near 4 or 5 hours at the most if its orbit was the radius of the suns solar flair, as it went out of sight past blocking light.

Quit using humanity's ability to manifest reality by filling their heads with visions of destruction. They deserve to see visions that inspire/engender hope, motivation, and confidence moving forward in this life. To anyone reading this and watching the video: use your imagination to envision a world and the life on it thriving in spite of all attempts at manipulating and destroying and exploiting various parts of it. Your vision is powerful, don't create or participate/take on a vision that doesn't help us all prevail. 💚💙💚💙

It would take a tremendous amount of force to cause the moon to explode and besides that nothing could really do that it might break it apart but nothing could cause it to explode except for from the inside. I think like something like a hundred million trillion gigajoules of energy. Even then it would just crack apart and then reform.

The FOURTH dimension is consistent with TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE. (Think quantum gravity.) ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. The ultimate mathematical unification (AND UNDERSTANDING) of physics/physical experience (AND TIME) combines, BALANCES, AND INCLUDES opposites. Energy density equals inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE multiplied times acceleration, thereby deriving F=ma AND WHAT IS E=mc² ON BALANCE. CLEARLY (ON BALANCE), I have solved WHAT IS the coronal heating “problem”. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Indeed, consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE. BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. GREAT !!!! By Frank Martin DiMeglio

No matter what you believe, when the world or our species ends, it really won't be the end. One way or another we will still exist whether as a martian on a new planet, a spirit in Heaven/Hell, a mind on a huge computer drive, or a human in a dimension several hundred years behind/ahead of this one we live in now. There will always end up being some kind of life as long as the climate is suitable for it, and our requirements for life to exist may not be the only way life can exist. Maybe species evolved to breath carbon monoxide, just because it doesn't rely on oxygen or water to survive doesn't mean it can never exist. We've discovered tiny micro-organisms that could survive in space and who is to say they don't exist on other planets just waiting for the right conditions before they evolve. Maybe somehow Earth's death would trigger conditions for life to find a way on a planet close to us. Some think life on Earth happened because of Mars being hit and the DNA or whatever from Mars landed on Earth which sparked life to slowly begin and evolve. So Earth having bits blown in every direction could potentially spark life on different planets, even having different variants from each other due to which planets they landed on. Potentially us all dying here could spark many hominoids on many planets to one day exist, that would maybe be a small consolation for us dying out.

Only a hypothesis, but could the solar systems planets, example Jupiter become the new sun in a new era? And the old sun be one of the gas giants existing today? Like, perhaps Tiamat is the current sun & tiamat was a gas giant planet & in each phase cosmic solar system clock work, the current sun loses its mass via another gas giant siphoning the mass from the sun so therefore like the planets playing pass the parcel. Solar system, gas giants doing spooky action at a distant, current sun is on clockwork time, linked with another gas giant & at the right moment, phase & stage it begins to lose its mass via a perpetual reaction thats always been. Gas giants been in a perpetual cyclical sun

Jupiter is a failed star. It will never become next sun. It needs 10^80 solar masses to become sun

Okay, I can't stand it....did he just try to tell me the earth would start spinning faster if the moon went away, disappeared, etc???

Don't know why you think it would take that much to destroy the moon. After all, the Illudium Q-36 explosive space modulator can blow up the Earth. The moon should be a cinch.
