Holy shit. I battled Taka during the Water Treatment part, and while I knew the battle would have ramifications towards the end of the game, I had NO IDEA how extensive they already were in E17. Amaria was always my favorite character of the game, and discovering she becomes UNHINGED AND TRIES TO KILL YOU was startling. Unfortunately, I've recently deleted all my playthroughs, and I'm fairly sure that the "intended" route is to battle Taka so that Titania doesn't kill him, thus keeping her around for the finale. And, seeing as I want to see that ending first, I'll have to do two complete playthroughs in order to see unhinged Amaria :/ Anyway, fantastic video! Truly informative. The only bit of lore I believe you missed was the fact that Laura says that there used to be a girl, around the twin's age or younger, who lived with them in the orphanage called Lyn. However, she used to cause a lot of trouble, pulling pranks on Laura (which is the cause of her OCD) and eventually pulling one on the Dr., after which she disappeared. This only comes up because Laura overhears Sirius mention Lyn by name during the Tanzan incident, and Laura marvels at the connection. Oh, there's also the bit where you can meet Terra's parents in Beryl Ward after the city's been fixed where they talk about how she grew up best friends with a girl called Lyn, who they suggest eventually led her to joining Team Meteor. Basically, you need to make a Lyn video ;)

I don't think there is any intended path in this game the path you chose was ideal which is represented by zekrom and the other path is Truth which is the only development in this game that's not edgy and all talk tbh. If Ame isnt changed after all this years then the Ideal path will get the dose of hard reality at end

Though I think there should've been some mentions of Shade's premonitions in the form of screens and the Legendary Dragon battle that determines which timeline you're going through (battling Zekrom means that everything happens the 'ideal' way, battling Reshiram means the truth is realized and influences everything)

Cameron Case Yeah, it’s actually the second fan game I’ve played after Insurgence and it’s pretty freaking good. Though there’s one more called Clockwork which is really good as well, but extremely incomplete.

Not the _entire_ story; they're just rewriting the earlygame and polishing midgame so that characters get more development earlier, and players have the option to go to areas earlier than normal (ex: it's now possible to explore Spinel Town before having to go to Belrose Manor).

E19 kind of messes up the early parts of this vid, a lot of the early game was expanded, new characters introduced, tweaked personalities (Corey in particular got a lot more characterization when introduced early and an adjusted role), Lin was introduced a lot earlier with a whole additional map in the Jasper/Beryl Forest. Sigmund's moustache twirling evil doctor role was reduced alongside Heather's presence post 3rd badge to focus more on Cal, several of the scenes of Heather acting out were just removed and Cal became the motion behind the events with Sigmund early on (also leading to Sigmund appearing more legitimate in his actions rather than just being the evil doctor).

Now that I fully thought about it I think the voice talking to the MC is actually Giratina because if you watched Leo (a KZbinr) who did a walkthrough called Reborn Nuzlocke with Taka at Mirage Tower, Taka mention that he disappeared and never to be seen again as far as he knows. Which means Giratina was helping the MC this whole time and probably wants Arceus to be killed by the player as a sign of appreciation for all he has done for the MC. Because Taka also stated that if the player gets a certain sword the player will decide whether use it to defeat and kill either Giratina or Arceus. Which makes sense especially with the battle against El when he said a fake Arceus is nothing compared to the original and how Luna was spouting her nonsense on how darkness is actually good instead of evil which could hint that the MC was being helped by the devil himself this whole time and its trying to justify Giratina's actions for wanting Arceus dead. I also think if you chose to help Taka you basically made Arceus your enemy because you put your ideals before the truth and if you didn't then Giratina is your enemy because you put the truth before your ideals. Depending on which one you face, the other will be obtained by the player. The question is will this happen before or after the battle against the elite four?

Jesus this plot is so much better without having to read through pages of emo dialogue. but there is still way too much of people getting taken hostage, having to take a HUGE detour across half the country when someone's life is in danger just to get a stupid HM. But there were some parts I thought were genuinely well done. The whole Amaria/Titania thing, Kiki's death, and Taka's choice just to name a few.

Yeah there is a lot of kidnapping now that I think about it but I'd at least forgive the trip to Apophyll since that whole arc provides arguably one of the highest points in the gameplay. That's likely why hostages are so prevalent too. They extend the scenarios for extra gameplay. If the entire story was perfectly streamlined there'd basically be no gameplay or not nearly enough to keep pace with the (insane) level progression.

weird so i have multiple and i mean MULTIPLE run through files of this game mainly i replay every chapter since its about a year a chapter and im assuming a lot of what your going through happens to my character upon update but i never get to physically see it such as death to taka and titania breaking up with amy(stupid bitch with stupid gym puzzle) and now im sort of wanting to replay the game again which is funny since i literally just finish replaying it again for chapter 18 and i seem to always choose the same options only differing a little because in my main 2 accounts one is going the route of Zekrom whilst the other is going the route of Reshiram and people keep telling me oh there is kyurem route but i never even seen game play of one sooo i doubt it but besides that amazing episode ty for the ur commitment and i will gladly like and sub

Battling Taka at the water center makes him stay with Team Meteor, meaning he wont be there for Titania to kill him at her gym so she gets to Amaria before you, this leads to "sane" Amaria. If you refuse to battle Taka at the water center, he has to leave Team Meteor and goes with you to Titania's gym where he gets killed, Titania tends to his body meaning you get to Amaria before her, which leads to manic Amaria.

There is a difference between being funded by donations which are actually more to support all things including Starlight Divide and asking for money to play the game or gain features that no one else can have without also buying it. Simply put the money is merely donations and cannot be considered using the game or Nintendo's IP to profit.

I just played reborn. I tell you what i can tolerate the emo dialogue(sometimes its funny) and im way into the story but not the part at the agate circus particularly in the agate gym. The first time i skipped the dialogue. It was fucking terrible i almost quit the game. To add to the saltiness l, i just cant get pass the conkeldurr. I stopped playing for days now. Im not planning to play since college will start soon so im watching this vid. Thanks
