@@duzanbuthe raid not failing is not even close to the top of the list of problems with the Wano arc. It has some serious issues regardless and honestly how abruptly most of the fights and plot lines ended was a big one of them. The raid failing would have allowed a lot more time for plot lines to actually develop fully and resolve in a satisfying way instead of being cut off and suddenly just ending, leaving loose ends and unresolved themes. The raid failing would have bloated the arc even more though, which was already an issue, among other problems. The whole arc just didn’t feel tight and well planned out, it felt like it was being played by ear the entire time except for a couple specific plot points which affected the series as a whole. Him having problems with Wano is totally fair and doesn’t necessarily mean his reason for disliking it is just because it didn’t fit his theory. If that is his reason, he is childish.

It was never said they don't need to go there-- it was said that those who get there realize they need to collect poneglyphs to get to Laughtale and have to take a second trip all around the world. But Lodestar could still be a vital place to visit in order to use the Road Poneglyphs at all. How do people forget that normal navigation is impossible in the Grand Line? If all the Road Poneglyphs give you is map coordinates-- that doesn't do anyone any good. Lodestar could still be vital to get the tools necessary to actually make any use of the Road Poneglyphs.

I don't think much has to change for Usopp. As Morj said, he basically already is what he wanted to become, at least in the situations where it matters. I don't think he will ever stop being a "coward" in that sense, but maybe he'll realize that being able to overcome that fear to help his friends already makes him a brave warrior.

I do think you're being a bit too optimistic about Elbaf's cast not becoming big. Right now, we have Droggy and Brogy's crew with the Strawhats. And we encountered a member of the Hajruddin's crew. There's also Loki himself and who ever else might be associated with him. Also, throughout Egghead, we saw the giants enamored with the idea of the sun god. And we've seen Road pretending to be a sun god, so that might be an idea explored throughout the arc. There's also the fact that Big Mom's flashback sets up the fact that they might have been exploited by the World Government.

I've been thinking about the idea that ties with morj prediction of the narrative. What if loki isn't a crazy person who wants destruction for the sake of it. If when loki said that he wanted to destroy the world as son god, maybe he meant the unfair system on elbaf where strengths decides right from wrong, If you think about it a society were only the strongest are in the right is just wrong. So maybe, like luffy when he confronted doffy and destroyed dressrosa's status quo, loki's mindset might be that the only way to change elbaf or even the entire world, is to destroy the old world and from its ashes a new better world will arrive.

I don't think Laughtale will be an island the Straw Hats visit. I think it would be more thematically fitting for it to be sunk on the ocean floor, giving Luffy the ultimate reason to save the world in the most selfish way possible. Why would Luffy save the world? If it was just his friends or even everyone he ever met in the story, that would still be underwhelming, a scaled up thing of what we have seen in every arc before. Someone will tell Luffy that there is no Laughtale, the One Piece can't be found anymore, and he just gets pissed and says "Fuck it, I WILL MAKE IT REAL MYSELF IF I HAVE TO"

Hear me out on this one, Straw Hats vs Shanks, the Straw Hats take the last Poneglyph but Luffy is captured by Shanks, Shanks hands Luffy over to WG, a parallel of Marineford occurs but this time the Straw Hats go and save Luffy. Ussop develops in this arc to be a brave warrior, and now with Luffy's absence he becomes the defacto leader of the Straw Hats. Tying up the strings of the Grand Fleet and the Water 7 conflict.

Knowing that the land of the Giants was going to come soon after wano it really bugged me that so little development had happened for the character Usop Throughout so much of the Time skip And in particular in Wano Where all he did was run away which from a narrative standpoint is very disappointing that with him being so close to the point where his dream needs to happen he's not even close And honestly his carefree development stopped dead after he took out sugar and honestly it just highlights once again a problem I've had with the story ever since the time skip really got rolling is how the crew got broken up for so long and that because of that most of the crew really hasn't gotten much use or development in particular robin went from being a critical member of the crew and one who saw a great deal of focus to now barely exists and I also find it really weird that the author decided to add another member to the crew despite the fact that already the author seems to want to have nothing to do with most members of the crew with Frankie and Brooke Getting almost completely ignored with really only the Big Three And Nami Getting any sort of attention in the story heck Egghead should have greatly focused on Frankie but the author wanted nothing to do with him despite the art thematically having a lot to do with Ranky with the whole cyborg and technology thing it's just weird to me that inauthor would choose to ignore his cyborg character during the technology arc of this story and honestly I gotta ask myself what is the purpose of the straw hat Root what purpose is there for it not just being a 4 or 5 person crew sense that's all that ever gets to do anything in a storyline

I think the reason ussop feels like he is still not a brave warrior is because he still feels fear, and that will be deconstructed with the classic revelation that true bravery isn't the absence of fear, but in facing your fears head on. Also i think it will be revealed that the readon yassop never returned is he was scared of being a father, and that revelation, that the brave warrior he's idolised his whole life has been running away since before he was even born will shake ussop to the core

I always wanted the Strawhats to have a group.moment of fighting together. They all surrounded and they all in a circle and we get great moments from each Strawhat. I thought in wano we would get that moment even in egghead where the destroy the fodder at the same time. Luffy leads than Zoro, Sanji, and Jimbe does an attack with Franky and Robin with the back up attack and Nami, Ussop and Chopper with the light finisher. I think that spread would be amazing

I have a theory regarding Usopp: the biggest lie he ever told was that he actually admires his dad. I think he told himself this out of necessity, because he needed something to hold on to after his mother passing. I mean they were abandoned by Yasopp, and it could be logical that a kids only way to cope with that situation and the dead of his mother is to make himself believe that his father is a brave and awesome guy. Otherwise he would have been left with nothing but despair and resentment. On the other hand, taking into account the theory that Usopp's lies eventually come true, I think it's possible that Yasopp can have a redemption moment and truly became someone who Usopp can truly look up to.

I think one of unpredictable things that can happen is Zoro protecting Luffy from Shanks. Whoa whoa, stay with me on that. It is said that Mihawk is number one swordsman and it was also said Shanks' crew is the most balanced in terms of strenght. If Beckmann is the one to take hand from fake Luffy aka Kid Zoro should be the one to deal with Shanks if he ever attacks his captain. Its also a way to show Straw Hats are beyond Yonko and they're fit to follow in Roger's steps. Now, I don't say this kind of move would be easy but pairing Kamusari with King of Hell would definitely change the game.

If you want to argue that Straw Hats like Usopp will get attention, yes, I think it is logical and something forthcoming. But that doesn't imply this will be like the first half of OP, where you had very little characters in an arc. Both can be true.
