One of my favorite bits of trivia about this is Wesley Snipes was so hardcore at his martial arts, he was going too fast for the cameras to accurately capture his movements on film. So they had to ask him to slow down (partly so they could get the shot, and partly so Sly could keep up with him) and as a result Phoenix looks a little clunky and slow, but it kind of works with his insane personality.

Are you certain about that? I heard that story for lethal weapon 4 and Jet li. Not this movie.

@@karenstarr With Jet Li in Kiss of the Dragon Behind the scenes it is commented he was faster than the camera...so hearing it for Leathal Weapon 4 isnt unheard of. And the last, is for a blast, you pull the two out, and wave em about. And that's the three seashells." Either that or you smash the first two, rub the powder on the cheeks and use the last to scrape the dried stuff away. I am just hazarding guesses, and those two are the most likely options in my head, and the first one was more like a weird joke, while the last is a little less weird and somewhat practical as seashells are basically and droppings are acidic and the two cancel each other out in a gross foam or powder residue which I am not going to try out. Egg shells would work for the smash it in powder one as well.

*Demolition Man* is STILL one of my Top 3 favorite action movies of all time! It was the first movie where the villain was just as, if not smarter, than the protagonist. AND, the only reason he gets beat in the end, is because the hero had a *split second bit of luck* and thought of something just before the villain did. I loved it. No monologues; just Pow, Blam! And the part where Cocteau programmed Simon Phoenix so that he could never hurt him, thinking that would stop Simon, but then Simon just makes one of his underlings do it for him, Was Genius!

Spartan's sentence is pretty ridiculous, actually. While it's true that involuntary manslaughter CAN carry a sentence of up to 4 years, that would be rare and unlikely, especially since Spartan was presumably a first offender. The sentence could make sense if his case was highly politicized in a time when institutions and society are deteriorating quickly, though.

I kinda ironically agree with Arnie being miscast as Freeze. For the movie we got? Yes. It was a cool casting. Pun intended. For the movie it couldve been? He should've been Bane. In his prime and slightly past his prime, he would be a perfect Bane, even more since he was an IRL Bane, much in the same way RDJ was an IRL Tony Stark.

14:07 Thank you! I don't get why people expect villains (especially ones in media aimed at more mature audiences) to be both murderers and decent people at the same time. Don't get me wrong it can be done, we do have the term "gentleman villain" for a reason, I mean Red Death from Venture Bros. is a great example of a villain who clearly gets off on killing but has a proverbial line in the sand that he chooses not to cross on who and why he kills. However most villains in these kinds of media are depicted as amoral and they should fucking act like it, even if that means they're a racist asshole, like if I'm fighting Nazi's in a video game I expect them to fucking act like Nazi's and have that imagery about them swastika and all, they should be hailing Hitler as much as Mary so when I see them catch a bullet I just pump my fist and keep trucking
