And the reason he didn't snipe the female assassin was because business is not allowed to be done on Continental grounds. @@LilRedDog What's worse, a failed ATTEMPT at killing, or actual killing on the premises? Let's say Marcus was figured out as the sniper. Marcus had made an attempt, but chose to "walk away" and simply warn John, and he technically didn't cross the line by killing on Continental Grounds. This is another reason he didn't shoot the assassin, because even if John was saved and wasn't accused of killing her, they could trace the bullet to him and HE would've been Excommunicadoed if he chose to kill her. The movies have shown that if caught ATTEMPTING to kill before the deed is done, you are given a chance to walk away. John was almost killed in JW2 and JW3 when on Continental grounds, and the killer was given the opportunity to cease if they don't want to be Excommunicadoed.

The fact that Keanu had a stuntman but did most of the stunts himself(only stunts done by the stuntman were ones he was forced to not do by the production company) is awesome. Not only that but the stuntman was given a rolex, the cost of which came out of Keanu's pocket. And to top it off, Keanu never went and bragged about ever doing this(and he's done it for several movies). He didn't do it for recognition but as a thank you to those he did it for. Little does Jermey know; Is that in the Wick series, those outfits are bullet proof. (An yes there is a company that does in fact make bullet proof clothing. Not nearly as stylish as it is shown in John Wick.). This something I've found out through looking up bullet proof clothing. Plus, Its been shown in the Movies, John has been shot a few different times. Its just been in his suit. Hell there is even a scene where john takes the bullets out. Also also, Its been stated that while it can stop the bullets their still gonna sting and I'm sure any swat or army personal can tell you. Even if the bullet doesn't hit you. Your still gonna feel the impact.

As a dog owner, I always tell my dog 'Good Boy' when he eats. When you've experienced a sick dog refusing food, seeing them eat takes on a new meaning. I think, maybe unintentionally, it instills a very subtle sense of compassion in John Wick.
@ShadowService2 жыл бұрын
Beginning of John Wick 2 - in reference to cab hitting John's leg(s)... it doesn't. On frame-by-frame, you can see Wick sees car coming, starts pulling the leg closest to car away, palm drops to hood, he puts weight on palm and pulls up both legs, rolling across the hood. But the bumper never actually contacts either leg. The "tuck and roll" is pretty basic combat/gymnastics/parkour maneuver to negate or at least minimize damage from rapidly approaching hard surface. So, very reasonable for a highly trained assassin to pull it off.

I actually like to think that John buried his past weapons and resources of "the life" so deep on his property and made it so hard to get to so that he would be further decentivized to return to it one day. He couldn't just open a safe with a simple code and get to it all, he had to literally break it out of the ground. Maybe he always worried that some day he would get pulled back in, like his life with his wife was just a fleeting moment of peace, like a dream.
