For anyone who just doesn't seem to understand: Superman can HEAR pretty much everything. That doesn't mean he's listening to everything. Imagine you're in a room with 50 people, and 25 people, give or take, are talking all at once. You can't listen to every conversation being had, but you can hear them all. Like he explained in the video, Superman can hear everything, but he's specifically listening to Lois because she lives in a city where the rate of crime is higher. He isn't listening for his mom because she lives in a small town where the rate of crime is a record low. He likely heard it happen, but wasn't listening for it. Also, I say 25 people because the room is representative of the world. Since half the world is experiencing night, then people in that half aren't talking to each other.

Regarding Diana blocking the bullets, no, they aren't acting like magnets nor did any of them think to shoot her in the foot for a reason. If you're trained with any sort of firearm, you are going to aim for center mass or above as that not only has easier targets to hit but also contains a person's most vital organs (heart, lungs, brain, etc). Shooting her in the foot may slow her down a bit, sure, but it wouldn't do anything besides that. Also, they are seeing someone do something they have literally never seen before, so they are clearly panicking. It's hard to think straight when you're panicking, doofus. Even then, do you really think Diana is just gonna stand there, do nothing, and let them shoot her? I don't care if you have powers or not. If you're a fighter and you get attacked, your first instinct will literally be to fight back.

Also, soldiers drill so much precisely because most people don't think straight in a combat situation, so their body can just go on "auto-pilot" and stoop to their level of training. To be fair, she was dealing with less people in the ally scene. In the ally, she was dealing with 3-4 (I think? Feel free to correct me.) guys with concealable pistols (most likely revolvers or something of that era) whereas in the battle of Veld, not only was she dealing with more people (likely more than what she dealt with in the ally, thus making her a tad occupied in the moment), but the weapons were also of a higher grade, and probably built to be used on the battlefield, seeing as those would have more power than what the spies were carrying.

For the (first) Suicide Squad the extended edition more so than the theatrical release unfortunately says Harley is the main character above the others. The only reason I say unfortunately despite her being one of 3 DC characters I actually like is because we didn't need 4 additional scenes on her backstory and still nothing on Killer Croc or Captain Boomerang who could have benefitted in the movie for being mildly more fleshed out

@@RenaldyCalixte Completely agree, Joker sells extremely well so make "sexy female joker" should also sell to a slightly larger audience. And I'll admit it is the over hyperactive personality they both have that make me like both characters in contrast to the usually menacing tones of Batman. However them focusing more on her in the extended edition just made Boomerang and Croc feel like they were only there to fulfill a single moment. You got a good sense of what Deadshot was hoping to get out of the deal and why Diablo was reluctant to use his powers, we even got more history of Dr Moon through Flag's flashbacks while Enchantress wore her motive on her sleeve. It feels even more validated that the other two were just spot holders that they had King Shark replace Killer Croc in the sequel/reboot and people actually noticed the character instead of him being absent from a large amount of it and nobody saying anything (may have been present but not in shot)

I'm still disappointed that Suicide Squad didn't have Harley Quinn's origins as a subplot. WB/DC decided that everyone somehow knew who she was, and just gave us flashbacks... I would've preferred that Harley started off as Dr Harleen Quinzel, with Joker (being her patient) planning his escape (as the main antagonist) with her help. And then in the third act, she becomes Harley Quinn.

I've had some thoughts on my head about Cinemasins for a while now, and here felt like the most appropriate place to vent them. I'm warning you right now it's a long rant, so read at your own leisurely pace. "We’re not reviewers. We’re assholes,” Jeremy Scott once said. “Hate makes us stronger. We’re like the demons in a Ghostbusters movie. Sins are often based on things you will neither notice nor will ever care about.” As if those are the only kind of sins you shove down my throat Jeremy. When not making half-baked jokes, innuendoes, or pop-culture references you base your sins on things far more sinister than my own ability to notice or care about things in a movie. I have seen articles from multiple different sources highlighting how: - you manipulate scenes just to sin them. (example: you cut up the Mad Max intro narration so you could claim it was nonsence. Or in your Logan video where Logan put Prof. X in bed from his wheelchair, you said he's a dick for not bringing the wheelchair closer to the bed, but conveniently left out the part where Logan does bring it closer 10 seconds later!) This is not my lack of ability to notice or care about something in a movie, this is your own doing. - you either intentionally or unintentionally sin one scene for something that is either explained in a previous scene or a following scene (example: in Ant-Man you asked how they were controlling the ants. When later given the explanation you dismissed it for sounding like bullshit. And then during the climax of the movie you again claimed that they'd never explained how the ant mind control worked). This is not my lack of ability to notice or care about a movie, this is your own doing. - you sin things straight out of your own lack of knowledge and/or short attention span, unintentionally or otherwise. (example: in Moana with the constellation and the drum. Or in Captain America: The Winter Soldier when Bucky and Steve talked about a girl they used to know you said that "it's been 70 years, how could they possibly remember it like a few years ago?" which is exactly the case for them since they were both frozen in time. Or the infamous "there is no gravity in space"). This is not my lack of ability to notice or care about a movie, this is your own doing. And out of my own observations I've noticed: - you sin logos appearing at the beginning of a movie, as if it's somehow a part of the movie that needs criticizing. (Which, if you think so, begs me to question why don't you sin the the end credits too?) That's weird on its own, but what is even weirder is the idea that you sin the running time of each company's logo for simply, well, running. But wait, it gets even better: you use this as a template for most of your videos, to a point perhaps humanity should just reach a consensus to either: 1) ban all logos from appearing in a movie or 2) appeal to your majestic authority on logo display extravaganza and enlighten us as to the most ideal runtime of a logo as you deem sinless. Or, perhaps you can just start your sin counter from 1 for your next video since every single movie will forever have logos on it at the beginning. - you sin things out of your own weird fantasies, such as when you sinned multiple scenes scenes for not containing a lap dance. You sinned Pitch Perfect because Anna Kendrick is not your girlfriend. And don't get me started on all your comments about Emma Watson. - you sin location text on establishing shots. You ignore narration and exposition. You use the terms Trope and Cleché interchangeably. You sin a character or object in a story as a "whatever ex machina" like if you have a hard time dealing with convenience. You routinely downplay the emotional connection between story and audience, even though that's the whole goddamn reason people tell stories in the first place! It's like you hate people using audio-visual delivering information in a movie for a series of scenes to progress the plot. This is not my lack of ability to notice or care about a movie, this is your own weird logic, pettiness, and bizarre fetishes. Granted, of course, that you think it's supposed to be adorkable for some reason. Oh wait, my bad, it's "entertaining", right. The problem is the joke -- asshole picks apart a movie -- is only funny for the first five minutes; past that you need to shake your delivery up or else it starts feeling like you're beating a dead horse. Please Jeremy, no matter how many times you or your fans repeat it, words like "parody", "satire", and "it's just a joke, stop taking it so seriously" do not actually make it true nor absolve you of criticism. It's a convoluted surface level attention span masquerading as insights wrapped in a narcissistic package of fake self-aware ignorance that gives you this limitless power to be willfully hurtful, carelessly wrong, and just plain tasteless. I know I'm mostly rehashing what many of the people who come to watch these EWW Cinemasins already know, but these things have been bouncing around my brain for the last couple of days and I really needed to vent them. Thank you to all who stuck through my rant, it means a lot. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Golden Age Batman, Flashpoint Batman, and Keaton's Batman were way more violent. There's also Owlman, Earth-10's Nazi Batman, and a Batman from an altered timeline in which he and Superman were raised by futuristic supervillains to be tyrants. This Batman has caused deaths indirectly and is a pretty harsh combatant (though I'd argue the Arkham Batman breaking people's bones is also harsh, even if the game says they're fine), but the aforementioned Batmen straight-up murked people with extreme prejudice. BvS at least treats Batman's violent streak as a new development and a bad thing. Alfred even calls him out on it, but people conveniently overlook that and think Batman is supposed to be in the right or something. Keaton's blew up a warehouse full of guys and dropped some of them off a bell tower. Flashpoint's shoots people with guns. Golden Age Batman would snap necks (often reserving his most violent kills for Chinese and black people for some reason (hint: it was the 1940s)), hang villains from the Batplane, and knock dudes into acid vats before coldly remarking, "A fitting end for his kind." Owlman runs a criminal empire and tried to blow up the multiverse. The Nazi one's a Nazi. And the other one is a fascist dictator. Even Bale's Batman blew up a dojo full of people, tried to shoot his parents' killer (only for a Falcone assassin to beat him to it; otherwise, he would have), arranges for Ra's al Ghul's death, killed Harvey Dent, and killed Talia al Ghul (I do think these instances were more justified than the others (save for trying to kill Joe Chill), but I'm just saying; he directly kills many people in that trilogy). That's before we even get into the entire Dark Multiverse. Be real.

I love your comment about farmers having the equipment to move/bury large objects underground. My grandfather buried a large car (for safety) by himself with a little help from my brother (under 10 years old). And people have been doing this for millennia

The real sin about Pa Kent sending the metal to Kansas State is that no farmer in Kansas would call it "Kansas State." It's always, always "K-State" here. No matter where you are in the state, nobody calls Kansas State by its long name.

I don’t think Jeremy understands how American football works. You play it in any weather, barring a hurricane or a tornado. (And they’re in Gotham so they probably play in hurricanes and tornados too) Football games regularly have one strong player, especially on high school football teams. He isn’t playing in a professional team and he’s a good football player, Victor being capable of winning a football game singlehandedly is the least unrealistic thing in the movie

Jeremy actually thinks that Superman is an allegory for Jesus? No. Superman was inspired by Moses, not Jesus. His backstory is literally just a modified version of the Moses story. A baby, doomed to die who is sent away by his parents to save his life. The baby is then found and raised by people of a different race. Later discovering his lineage, he goes on to become a hero and champion of the people. It's pure Moses. Also, both of the creators (Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster) were Jewish immigrants in another land (the USA), causing them to feel different and of place amongst their peers. Just like both Moses and Superman.

Jeremy complains that the dumb trucker doesn't figure out Clark is an alien because he finds entire trees rammed through his truck instead of how Superman - the moral compass of the entire Justice League who, on multiple occasions has been shown to be the example that keeps everyone from losing their own moral compass - as a petty asshole who takes revenge on people for doing something that couldn't possibly have hurt him. Because pointing out how silly it is that nobody can figure out that Clark Kent is Superman (even thought it isn't silly at all) is a meme, while actually thinking about what Superman *is* in the context of the DC universe's meta-structure takes effort.

You know, you sinned him for pointing out the obvious Jesus parallels with Superman, but honestly? I agree with that criticism. Not only is it ham fisted, Superman is actually a _Jewish_ influenced idea. He was made by two Jewish guys, inspired by the story of the golem, and the idea of a great savior being sent away by his parents as an infant only to grow up in a foreign land is heavily inspired by the story of Moses.
