Also, besides that the Autobots in the air-filled spaceship to be using usual vocal speakers to speak to each other & the Decepticons when they crash into the ship. They seem to continue to be able to speak to each other with their "voices" after having opened it up to the vacuum of space. Again later on, Unicron speaks to Megatron, floating in space with what seems to be vocal emanations coming from that giant mouth of his, in space,... versus radio waves to do so. There should be at least a few hundred sins for that "You've got the touch" song alone,.. it almost ruined the movie alone.

13:25 Oh hell yeah! I'm glad I'm not the only one who finally calls this out in the movie. I've been saying this for years! The reason Ultra Magnus didn't become a Prime isn't because the matrix didn't pick him, but because hotrod just happened to be the one to catch it first after it was past. It should also be noted that Ultra Magnus didn't use the finger slots on the side of the Matrix like both hotrod / Rodimus does later. Thank you Birdman! You mean you really can't tell that the Matrix picked Hot Rod? I thought the movie slapped the audience in the face with that information - by having him catch it, by having it glow when he stands up holding it, by having Hot Rod confirm to the audience that he 'knows' the Matrix can defeat Unicron, and by having him be physically changed by it when he finally activates it inside Unicron. What more does the movie need to do?
