I will say at 16:34, you can interpret that as "Rollout!" being the command to "let's get going!", and "Maximize!" being the command to "transform and fight!". Hell, Optimus Primal does in fact say "Maximize!" mere seconds later to his Maximals. And yes, as a long time _Transformers_ fan, you even notice this in the cartoons/games, even last movies. When Optimus Prime says "Rollout!", they have almost consistently just transformed into vehicle mode and drove to the next scene, fight, etc etc.

Because people, including Birdman here, apparently don't get it: BUMBLEBEE AND RISE OF THE BEASTS ARE NOT PREQUELS TO THE FIRST BAYVERSE MOVIE!!! It's made clear almost immediately when Bee, at the very least, lands on Earth after WW2 in this timeline, where he was present during that time period in the Bayverse. Same with Unicron not being Earth in this timeline while he was in the Bayverse. Just because it's live action, doesn't mean they exist in the same universe. And before someone decides to be a smartdonkey, Starscream, Shockwave, and Soundwave were in their G1 designs at the Start of Bumblebee, why would they change them to the drabber designs in the Bayverse, since last I checked, most Cybertronians (coughBlitzwingcough) have designs closer to their G1 designs. Bee's camaro design just happens to be way more iconic then his original Volkswagen Beetle design from G1, and at least he has the Beetle for an alt mode at the beginning of his tenure on Earth. I rest my zoggin' case.

Honestly, if you completely disregard the mountain of crap _The Last Knight_ dumped on the continuity and pretend none of what it set up is canon, _Bumblebee_ and _Rise of the Beasts_ fall in line pretty well with the Bay movies. Just assume the Maximals were somewhere else for the entirety of the 21st century

This and Bumblebee are in a new continuity. I know that the producer will continue to say its all connected but its just not true. The original ending to this movie had Prime sacrifice himself and get picked up by Unicron. So every time he says we know that characters will live we really don't.

Rise of the Beasts was a perfectly serviceable movie in the franchise. But since Beast Wars was my first exposure to Transformers, I was naturally disappointed that Airazor died, Rhinox had no lines, Cheetor wasn't himself, NO RATTRAP, and no Predacons. I had hope they would build the Maximals and Predacons up, but that post credit scene....

Finally! Someone defends this movie! The movie is better than I thought when I saw it in theaters, but there are so many people who bash the heck out of this movie, while using Bayformers as either a “legitimate” comparison or how the “Bayformer movies are better with just action scenes”, which they didn’t know what they’re talking about as they didn’t know what Transformers is about. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed Bayformers with the exception of the second and fifth film, but they didn’t feel like Transformers movies compared to G1, Animated and Prime I’ve watched recently, and I’m more of a fan of the reboot series because they relied on storytelling and character arcs while balancing the action, and Bumblebee is my all time favorite Transformers movie because the movie treated both Cybertronian and human characters with respect instead of tools for entertainment.

Also, another sin on the original video: This movie is in a reboot universe not connected to the Bayverse. Bumblebee and Optimus being in those films have no say on their mortality. And even if they were connected, all the Autobots were in the Michael Bay movies anyway(aside from Stratosphere, who wasn't in any combat in this movie and couldn't have died). Prime and Bee were in all films, Arcee was in Revenge of the Fallen, and Mirage and Wheeljack appear in Dark of the Moon(though they gotten renamed last minute, due to getting leaked. They still had their original names in all the marketing and merchandise. Mirage was renamed "Dino" and Wheeljack was renamed "Que.") If this movie was connected to the Bayverse, all these characters would be immortal for this film.

Sorry, I have to become that annoying nerd First- this film is not a prequel to the Michael Bay transformers films, it and bumblebee are a reboot universe as shown in bumblebee with him landing on earth in 1987 which contradicts the bay films which says that he was on earth during World War II. Any references to the bay films like with sector 7 and the 77 Camaro bumblebee were due to this film, originally being scripted as a prequel, but halfway through production, they changed it into a reboot with the alternate cybertron opening because of the last knights under performance at the box office so they cut any explicit references that would have to connect it to the Michael bay films like sector seven having Megatron in the Hoover dam Second, the Maximals never said, maximize to go into battle, they said it’s a transformer which they do a minute later from when primal said roll out with prime All right I accept the spray
