I will say at 16:34, you can interpret that as "Rollout!" being the command to "let's get going!", and "Maximize!" being the command to "transform and fight!". Hell, Optimus Primal does in fact say "Maximize!" mere seconds later to his Maximals. And yes, as a long time _Transformers_ fan, you even notice this in the cartoons/games, even last movies. When Optimus Prime says "Rollout!", they have almost consistently just transformed into vehicle mode and drove to the next scene, fight, etc etc.

This and Bumblebee are in a new continuity. I know that the producer will continue to say its all connected but its just not true. The original ending to this movie had Prime sacrifice himself and get picked up by Unicron. So every time he says we know that characters will live we really don't.

Because people, including Birdman here, apparently don't get it: BUMBLEBEE AND RISE OF THE BEASTS ARE NOT PREQUELS TO THE FIRST BAYVERSE MOVIE!!! It's made clear almost immediately when Bee, at the very least, lands on Earth after WW2 in this timeline, where he was present during that time period in the Bayverse. Same with Unicron not being Earth in this timeline while he was in the Bayverse. Just because it's live action, doesn't mean they exist in the same universe. And before someone decides to be a smartdonkey, Starscream, Shockwave, and Soundwave were in their G1 designs at the Start of Bumblebee, why would they change them to the drabber designs in the Bayverse, since last I checked, most Cybertronians (coughBlitzwingcough) have designs closer to their G1 designs. Bee's camaro design just happens to be way more iconic then his original Volkswagen Beetle design from G1, and at least he has the Beetle for an alt mode at the beginning of his tenure on Earth. I rest my zoggin' case.

Honestly, if you completely disregard the mountain of crap _The Last Knight_ dumped on the continuity and pretend none of what it set up is canon, _Bumblebee_ and _Rise of the Beasts_ fall in line pretty well with the Bay movies. Also, another sin on the original video: This movie is in a reboot universe not connected to the Bayverse. Bumblebee and Optimus being in those films have no say on their mortality. And even if they were connected, all the Autobots were in the Michael Bay movies anyway(aside from Stratosphere, who wasn't in any combat in this movie and couldn't have died). Prime and Bee were in all films, Arcee was in Revenge of the Fallen, and Mirage and Wheeljack appear in Dark of the Moon(though they gotten renamed last minute, due to getting leaked. They still had their original names in all the marketing and merchandise. Mirage was renamed "Dino" and Wheeljack was renamed "Que.") If this movie was connected to the Bayverse, all these characters would be immortal for this film.

Crazy to me that cinemasins didn't take a sin off for the scene at the end after Noah saves optimus where optimus and them are running from the explosion, and they play Arrival To Earth by Steve jablonksy (a song from the first first Michael bay movie's soundtrack). Maybe its just my nostalgia talking since I grew up with the Michael bay movies, but that scene gave me goosebumps and was easily one of my favorite parts of the movie.

My two biggest gripes with this movie were: The Gameboy thing, I immediately was like "there's no game on the Gameboy that features bowser as the primary antagonist using Nintendo 64 soundbytes." Should have had him say "Can't get past Wario" as that game had just come out the same year as when this movie takes place. That game would've been the new hottness, yo. I don't like pre-jaded Optimus. Here, he doesn't really have a reason to have disdain toward people other than mistrust of a species you don't really know. I vastly prefer the way the Bayverse handled his character; start off "Optimistic" and then slowly become jaded because you realize so much of humanity is absolutely terrible and is murdering your friends for no other reason than "my sister died when you tried saving us" and that basically results in Cemetery Wind (which is a badass name, btw).

But since Beast Wars was my first exposure to Transformers, I was naturally disappointed that Airazor died, Rhinox had no lines, Cheetor wasn't himself, NO RATTRAP, and no Predacons. I had hope they would build the Maximals and Predacons up, but that post credit scene....
