If you decide to sell Rocket, Hellbender will decline the offer and say she would rather buy Groot. Because of that you would have to fight your way through her fortress instead of sneaking. Yes, not all of the decisons matter but quite a few do have different outcomes.

Also while the ending is the same, events of the final mission are changed depending on your choices, such as reducing encounters against enemies, and the are certain dialogues choices that will be "remembered" and called back to at a later point in the story

There is a reason why Quill doesn't grow up emotionally. It is called Arrested Development, and is the psychological condition that can trigger due to a traumatic event. You stay the same age emotionally from that point on as a coping mechanism. And I learned that from a JJ Abrams show

I only stumbled upon this game because it was on sale on Steam and immediately bought it. Didn’t know it was being developed or even released ngl but I was craving some GoG content. While the fighting was indeed a bit frustrating, the banter between them, the voice actor’s delivering and the story is nice. I’m pretty sure they’re adapted with the banter and personalities off the movies more than anything else, so them calling Peter by different names is pretty in line. In conclusion this is a great game for what it is.

For sin 81 at the 27:22 mark, I originally thought this too on my first play through. But on my second one I realized that Drax was talking crazy immediately after the indoctrination scene. You don’t realize it because the gameplay and combat distract you.

Ya forgot about 0451, which was the door code to Looking Glass Studios' office, the creators of Thief. The code is a way too referenced reference, like for example it's the first code in every Arkane game, except Deathloop, but it still ends up giving you a reference to the reference.

I liked the game, it was much better than the premiere at E3 suggested. The only gripe I had was the characters overtalking each other too much and when one got interrupted during dialogue, they never went back to what they were saying as Red Dead Redemption 2 did. I was so happy they focused on a different stone and not the blue one like they overused in the MCU.

I've giving this an upvote because I like this channel. Thought this game was great (except for the combat which is its weakest link). The writing was good, the plot was interesting, the characters were amazing as were their interactions and the levels looked like the leapt off the page of a 1960's or 70's comic book. Especially Drax who tends to use the more proper versions of names if they’re available. Hell, your Starlord argument makes no sense because QUILL CALLS HIMSELF STARLORD 6:20 they have no way of bringing the Soul Stone with them as you JUST SAW. And the monster your complaining about isn’t even the one they’re hunting. 8:15 so you only played the game once because dialogue options in this game vary certain in game dialogue or even the the format of entire levels. Which you would know if you played the game again or looked up stuff on youtube. Also there is more than 1 ending. There’s 3. 8:49 because she’s been studying Star Lord since she believed he’s her dad and thus earth which the Nova Corp can do since they’re…space cops 9:43 he’s saying she looks older than she looks not that she looks attractive. The whole point of this section based on YOUR dialogue choices is that Peter is trying to defend Nikki and make her look competent in front of her mother 10:21 yes but if you kept paying attention to the dialogue later in the story he clearly went back because he knows who the Avengers were. Then again who am I kidding you clearly sin games as they go and don’t go back to edit them so you can keep the sin count high. 11:23 but why would they risk several seconds of possible death rather than just landing safely and hoofing it. At least on the ground they’re skilled enough to handle whatever happens in the air of the Milano gets hit they’re all dead or have to get more money for possible repair cost 11:47 this is the worst sin you’ve ever come up with and I’ve seen your god of war 3 video 12:44 wow you can pay attention to the plot too? 13:04 (Edit) as we find out later in THIS video, Quills mom didn’t actually think the guns worked 13:21 wow Dartigan if you did the actual research on this game with a quick KZbin search you would not only have seen the difference you also would’ve seen that your dialogue choices matter since choosing Rocket makes this level ENTIRELY DIFFERENT 15:02 as Rocket already points out he didn’t want to go on this mission for this exact reason. The only reason Quill cares is because of Nikki and Kor-El so it wouldn’t matter to him about how scary the situation seems 12:33 then why is it a sin now if you just said this current instance isn’t a sin. 16:00 I was unaware you knew the exact distance between that ship and Knowhere. Was there a galactic map in the game I don’t know about. Point is, for all you know Knowhere is the closest place they can go to for help. 16:35 first, another example of a section where dialogue matters. Second, wtf. Bro, are you honestly comparing Quill remembering the most traumatic moment of his childhood and literal WAR stories to the time he met some RANDO in space? 18:21 because that’s how the armor works. The one killed by Thanos? That’s what’s keeping them here? I kind of wish that the game wasn’t linear, but I guess that gave more opportunities for more detailed environments. The bosses and the repetitive enemies is what I had the biggest problem with mostly because it took forever to fight a boss as the first was killed by magus for some reason which I don’t get why it was done so we got hellbenders beast later on instead which was ok. The twin's battle didn’t really last long since it’s interrupted halfway and we never see them again. Fing fang was also way to long and magus was too easy for me.

What SHOULD be Sin 5: They get into the Quarentine Zone to hunt a monster they were told would be around an old mining ship. I can buy that a monster would make its nest near an old mining ship, but how would anyone know about it to tell them if its in the Quarentine Zone? The area of space people are not allowed in and which the Guardians needed a seceret code to get in? Actually, later in the game, they find an old guy looking for his god in the Quarentine Zone, so either its not that hard to get into and the Guardians were duped into paying for an easily aquired password, or thats one hell of a coincidence of two unauthorized ships getting picked up in the Quarentine Zone at the same time.

I have praticed hema for years so I have on good authority that if you don't put force into it you are not going to cut anything. Not to mention there is a whole defensive techinque where you catch the the opposing sword in a downward strike not to mention you need proper edge allignment to cut.

I'm glad that someone else agree that there is an ungodly amount of dialogue in this game that's delivered so horridly that it sours the actually decent gameplay. I have only played this in one sitting that last a few hours, and very very few games have given me a headache while playing, even less of them in a short span of time, and it was all due to how much the characters wouldn't shut the hell up

I don't like this narrative that a lot people push that you only play as Starlord. Yes you only have full control of Starlord, but you also command the other Guardians. This effectively gives you control of the whole team. You're really playing as the Guardians not just Starlord. As far as combat goes, I thought it was fun as hell and robust enough to allow the player to tackle encounters in different ways. I was always excited when the next combat encounter came up. Everything just comes together so beautifully during the combat encounters: the music, the yelling, the shooting, the punching, the chaos. It really made me feel like i was there and got my adrenaline pumping.

Dont worry pal, lve grown in the 90s too and let me tell you there are not even close to the iconic decade that was the 80s. The 90s didnt introduce anything new or fresh to modern society that could be exploited in the same way. Fashion wise was meh, socially wise was depressing, and culturally well, just empty. In music what we got? Nirvana? RHCP? Not even GNR are from the 90s; movie wise either, maybe Jurassic Park, so yeah not much to worry about the refried 80s formula capitalizing in the nostalgia or "generational affinity" there

Man I love this game everything from the music to the characters and so on was great although combat was dry but everything else lifted it up so high 7.5/10 in my books
