Actually, he would just push through whatever part he chose to lift like pushing a thumbtack into corkboard. Movies, and comics, suspend physics when it comes to super-strength more than many other powers. Heck, I'm more likely to believe someone can fly or shoot energy blasts than these plane saving and building saving feats. The flying or energy manipulation could be technology we don't understand yet. But, the concepts of area of applied force and surface tension of building materials is pretty much within our mental grasp.

It was just embedded into the movies.

Nah I remember reading something that said he emits a type of field that allows him to fly and he can project it onto other objects. For example in Man of Steel, during his first flight, you can see small debris floating around him before take off. It was the same with Zods armor during the last battle too. Overall, Zach did a fucking terrible job with the franchise, but the powers displayed by the characters were pretty on point in my opinion.

Affleck could have done so much more but I just couldn't help but cringe at his batsuit. Instead of a clear bat logo, we now have a wide symbol tat can appear as a bat only if you include small spikes in the outline. Batman's trademark ears are way too short and wide too.

Quick question: What were the Amazons doing with the keep it moving bit? What was the plan when they hit the beach? They're on an *island*!? And only have *wooden row boats* at best? Also: it is *heavily* implied in this movie and basically outright said in the WW movie that the Greek gods (Or at least Zeus) exist. What happened to them? Why didn't they help when Stephen Wolf appeared again?? Did they die??? Also: How was Superman able to pick up that apartment complex from underneath without it crumbling apart? He's strong yes, but that building isn't. Also: Why did they keep all 3 motherboxes on the same planet? That sounds dumb. Why didn't the Green Lanterns take it?? They could've solved this by showing Stephen Wolf surrounded in the ruins of the lantern corps and walking away with the motherbox if they couldn't have Green Lantern himself help the JL. Plus, it would've shown him actually being more of a threat than just showing him lose a battle, run away, and act like a video game villain the whole time. In short: there are too many questions i have for this movie and *SO MANY* it could've better. But sadly, this is what we have.

@@vasisteel895 That's not how that works. It might explain why America would honor Superman, but not suddenly idolize him, let alone the rest of the world. The prior movies completely failed to establish Superman as a beloved hero, let alone a generally liked figure. The ending of Mos had a good setup for such a story, but it was skipped in favor of BvS. The reshoots also did this movie no favors as it presents the Superman that most fans and general audiences actually wanted to see from the beginning. The only thing good that came of BvS was the massive DC course correction and Kevin Feige/Marvel responding by making Avengers Civil War.

Jack Vann reshoots and shitty Joss Whedon writing! That cop was actually supposed to be the cop played by former Jimmy Olson actor Marc Mclure. Him and Lois were friends in Zack’s version. They’d get coffee every morning and he’d drive her to Superman’s monument. He knew Clark was Superman. The other cops weren’t supposed to be there. In Zack’s version, during the Leagues fight with Superman Cyborg actually tells them to leave. That part was even in the trailer but not the movie.

Superman is as fast as the Flash when the Flash is moving at what we call "Regular Speed", for him, anyway. It is shown in the comics that when Flash isn't using his full Speed, Superman can keep up with him running or flying. It's when Flash decides to actually use his true speed is when Superman can no longer keep up.
