Yeah. The CinemaSins format falls flat when used on straight-up comedies. It ends up just being old man-Jeremy yelling at clouds and trying to do comedy on comedy. Kind of like those terrible spoof movies from the aughts, that were just spoofing other comedies.

What's funny is Jeremy admitted in an older video that their comedy sin videos aren't good because it turns into a whole lot of "I don't find this funny." People defending them will keep saying it's supposed to be satire, but repeatedly saying "I didn't laugh at this" is lame satire. And the channel has admitted as much themselves. Yet they keep doing videos like that because they're basically just selling out as hard as the people they criticize at this point. They have some older videos that actually were pretty funny, but it's been a while.

I finally got around to watching this a couple of years ago and for some reason I was surprised that they weren’t supposed to be teens or big kids
