CinemaSins has a very good answer and points that not all relationships can be saved, sometimes to the individual figures things out on his/her terms or simple separate from the toxic individual. Love the movie series. But, it is becoming a recurring moment in CinemaSins to Poppy's Life Lessons are either half baked or missing a few things in the actual life lessons.

She only WANTS a sibling because Branch has them, and she CLEARLY isn’t at all lonely (she literally has over half the trolls to do her bidding and she already stated that she was happy with that.). Poppy puts herself into stupid situations that she has no remorse whatsoever except “It’s for fun” or “At least it was fun.” Poppy’s toxic positivity is how the ENTIRE TROLLS FRANCHISE BEGAN: She decided to have the biggest, the loudest, and the craziest party ever even though she knew her own species was in danger, plus potentially (and was in fact canonically) being hunted down or searched for by Burgens. Conclusion: Poppy is poorly written, making it look like she’s the villain to some people (including me).

Surprisingly I enjoyed this movie. The one thing that irks me is the whole "lost sister" bullshit. It was not needed at all. Bridget was literally fine enough for Poppy. They were both very cute and more close like sisters. If anything this movie should have been more on Branch and his brothers with Poppy being by his side supporting him.

Cannot agree more. I'm almost mad that I like this series, but I do. :-P I honestly think this one is the best of the three, though 2 had a good message. I was surprised at how much I laughed in the theater (as well as the other patrons) and I listen to the OST quite a bit. The boy ban puns were stupid, but I still laughed.

1:55 I swear I watched this movie only because of that stupid mega pun line in the trailer and weirdly enough, i did not regret it... I don't know, I just have a soft spot for animated boy band parodies and the songs and cover remixes where legit fire here. Yes, I legit liked that movie and I'm not even pretending I don't. Pure fun entertainment with good music. Thats all it sometimes needs for a good time. 13:51 also sin for you for skipping one of the best scenes in the movie. I have not seen the first two movies before that one, but this scene represented well how long these two know and care for each other. In any other lame as movie he would have just pushed her away like an lame ass crybaby causing pointless extra drama, instead he apologize for even thinking that and making her know that he knows that she is always there for him. Quite a mature moment for such a "childish" movie.

A couple you missed 1)Grandma looks totally different between the first movie and now. Purple body with teal hair in the flashback of how he blames himself for her death, and in this movie she's pink with light lime colored hair. 2)Poppy has the rainbow highlights in her hair from the previous movie at the start of the movie, yet during the movie they suddenly disappear and its totally pink.
