Commenting before I watch the video, I sincerely hope the late and great James Horner gets a sin removal for his beautiful original soundtrack. Personally, I believe his best composition was for this film, mainly because the music really MAKES the film. That being said, I’ve always loved Willow. Not only is it a movie where an actual small person/little person/dwarf/whatever you want to call them - plays the main character, the hero, but they’re also not presented as comic relief. They don’t serve as the butt of constant jokes/insults, nor are they called names because of their height. I mean, besides the occasional “peck.” All in all, a somewhat overlooked but fantastic fantasy-adventure film. Edit: After having watched the video, I'm disappointed about the no sin-removal :(

That's great that it lost to Roger Rabbit. It couldn't have lost to a more deserving movie. Roger rabbit was as perfect of a movie as they get. Roger Rabbit, silence of the lambs and godfather 2 are as perfect as movies can get. And I didn't know the same studio did both movies. Heck I didn't even know they came out the same year. Years ago, I read the movie novelization that includes scenes cut from the film that explain some plot holes. According to the book, the kingdom that Willow tries to bring Elora to is ruled by a king who is Bavmorda's estranged husband. Sorsha had believed her father was a traitor. During the fight scene, Sorsha saw her father frozen and trying to call her name. Seeing what really happened to him and the kingdom was what converted Sorsha. Also, the book confirms that peck is a slur that humans call Willow's people.
