Wow!!! I only saw it twice.😆 Was absolutely stoked to see Nolan's follow-up movie The Prestige when it came out the next year (2006). That movie seems to finally be getting the recognition it deserves.

I was supposed to see it. My girlfriend at the time bought tickets, but I was wiped out from work and passed out. Never went to see it but got it on DVD for Xmas. It remains my favorite live action Batman movie. Mask Of The Phantasm is my all time favorite

Batman Begins brought super hero movies to the forefront in a way that they hadn't been before. It forced everybody to up their game when making super hero movies. The MCU would not have been what it was without the Dark Knight Trilogy that came before it.

Or if we really wanted to argue about it, none of this would be possible at all if the singularity at the center of our universe didn't expand for 13.7 billion light years.
